@hopi wrote:Using a facial toner machine like NuFace or Suzanne Somer really helps to tone your face.
Also the way you apply your make can make a world of difference in hiding them or accenting them. Wish it was possible to put an instagram page up on here that really changed the way it I applied my makeup. It's not even a one minute process. I use Laura Geller which is a very natural look.
Part of the trick is to get a nice light concealer stick Laura Mercie Flawless Fusion is a favorite.
I use mostlly LG B&B but when I use other foundations and powder, then this is when the lines become more pronounsed looking! I will look into the Laura Mercia concealer. Thanks!

@Shanus wrote:@AngelPuppy1 Like many of us, lines and wrinkles appear as we age. Lack of volume happens causing sagging and folds not just our faces.Lol
Unless you're having photos made where you can "fudge" the lines with white concealer to bring the area forward, products that temporarily plump the area (many leave a white crusty look), there's not much to do.
Try a good moisturizer and that's about all I know that may keep the area plumped.
I know it's a normal thing to get certain lines -- yuck! I am a faithful moisturizer so I guess I just have to live with it. Thanks.

RoC Derm Correxion Fill + Treat Advanced Retinol Serum, Wrinkle Filler Treatment
It works nicely on my forehead lines. About $30 at Amazon or Walmart, etc.
It works great when applied and is supposed to have long term effects too.
I've never been able to use any kind of retinoids or things like this. Too harsh on my skin. I wish! Thanks for the recommendation though!

what to do ?? Well .. I'm alive and healthy at 78 ...
So I avoid mirrors and photos and grin and bear it ..
I will add that the C Pap mask is not helping ....
I am grateful to be ablive, too - although I am not in the best of health! I feel I don't look that bad for my age but my skin is starting to really show my age. I guess it happens to us all! My dear mother had to use one of those masks and she always had lines on her face from it. She hated it but it helped her, so there you go....

@JudyL wrote:I have the nasolabial lines that I think you're talking about. Not much I can do about them. A primer may help keep makeup from settling in them.
Yes, looking at the picture, that's what I have. I also have slight ones between my brows - not bad yet - and that's probably from squinting!

@Effie54 wrote:@AngelPuppy1 I totally hear you! The lines seem to pop up overnight. I have them as well and haven't found anything that really helps. I have sensitive skin, so I can't use a lot of retinols. Dermal fillers can help smooth them out. I had it done years ago and it looked great - and lasted for years.
I wish I could use those retinols! I don't think I want to go the route of fillers. Thanks.

I used to be a side sleeper but for some reason I now sleep mainly on my back - which is a good thing I guess!
What are the products you said helped you?
Thanks for your post!

The Lab Direct Power Punch Vitamin C effecively and noticeably plumps up my lines and face. This has been a very popular item with many of contributing Beauties here. After applying I cocktail The Lab Direct's Pro Vitamin serum (Hyaluronic & niacinamide) with The Lab Direct's DMAE Firming Complex serum. For me the results are awesome. My face is like glass. Smooth and very firm to the touch. Nothing too tight or weird. I cannot locate the DMAE product but the others are available on The Lab Direct dot com site. I'd originally purchased mine on ShopLC.
I also absolutely love Lancer's Advanced C Radiance Serum w Retinol. I know you avoid Retinol yet wanted to share that this too is super plumping. I've used this for years before purchasing The Lab Direct product(s).
Le Prunier Plumbody Creme plumped up my baby marionette lines. It was happenstance when I patted some extra on my face. Those bad boys plumped right up. One side more than the other but distinctly noticeable. Currently offered on viewyourdeal dot com at half price. Very luxe and riche, including the price.
Hope this is somewhat helpful. I'm still experimenting. Playing with oils but don't want to open too many at one time.

@AngelPuppy1 I think they are called nasal labial folds caused by gravity. You could try Wedtmore or PTR or even Dr. Denise instant fix products but it's all temporary. The only thing that blurs them is something with dimeticone in it. Or you can just embrace them and live life to the fullest.
