I'm beginning to think it's my sunscreens, so today I checked out Paula's Choice due to great reviews, but was very VERY disappointed in the ingredients.
I'm getting to the point where I think nothing will give me what so many of you seem to have found.
I use PC's Resist Super Light SPF 30 (physical). It's full of antioxidants/antiaging ingredients that I don't normally see in sunscreens. I'm curious as to which ingredients disappointed you so much?
I just ordered that! I'm eager to try it. I also ordered the Resist powder to set it.

Thanks for all the great recs. I am 54, wrinkles around eyes. Normal skin. I like a matte finish, but only use on chin and under eyes (dark, dark circles). I usually dust LG B&B.

I generally do not like liquid foundations, so for years now I've primarily worn a powder-type. Which isn't the best fit all the time for my skin. Mally has one that's good. I also used to wear B&B more often, but I finally realized that none of the colors are great matches for me.
The two liquid-types I've liked in the past 1-2 years are the IT Cosmetics Oxygen Something or other, and Philosophy's A to Z Cream. Yes, this last one isn't a true foundation, but I've been so pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. I'm getting to the bottom of my current tube. And I will definitely repurchase.
For my skin, the littlest amount of base product works best. Otherwise my giant pores trap it all--not matter what it is, really. So I have to have a very light hand with the liquid stuff (even the A to Z cream I mentioned). The best for me is to use and apply concealer in the right places and then I can get away with less "top coat", so-to-speak.
Right now I'm loving Trish McEvoy's Instant Eye Lift. I love the consistency of this product. Love. I also like the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye. One thing I haven't found is my HG for concealer others areas on my face, say, a random pimple, or discoloration. If anyone has a spot concealer that they love, please let me know!

I use Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Liquid Foundation by Avon. It is full coverage and very light feeling. I tend to have a bit of shine on my nose, but the rest of my face is normal, sometimes dry skin.

I just tried Mary Kay's CC cream and like it a lot. Nice finish, and coverage is good enough for me--I'm not trying to cover much of anything, just even things out a bit. What I really liked, though, was the CC cream mixed with some of Laura Geller's Neutralizer Spackle. Mixed equal amounts in my hand, dabbed all over my face, then smoothed with fingers...KAPOW! Feels light, covers nicely, redness gone. Think this will be my summer makeup.
I also like LG Balance & Brighten and usually dust a little over anything else I put on.
