I posted this in wrong place before. Laura Geller has said “This product has no bad things like parabens etc...” but the previous product she presented had parabens and talc. Either they are bad or not and if you think they are bad don’t put in your product.

I think a lot of her products do have talc. I love watching her, but I have had to return a lot of her items so now I don't order even though I was tempted to today.

I just don't think the proof is there concerning parabens, but the retailers have figured out that it's a good selling point.

I just posted something about companies like LG and such, smaller ones who sell out. They have no say in any new formulations, products but old formulations must stay the same.
I personally think that is bull as they can do what they want since who is watching over their shoulder? no one... we are the ones who know if something is changed! we are the ones in the know by using it and knowing the product well unlike the higher ups as new buyers who are most likey not giving a hoot or never even used the things we do.

Philosophy’s Hope In A Jar still contains parabens and it causes me to distrust their other skincare. Supposedly developed in derm offices, shouldn’t they know better? Even if parabens were in products years ago, they should have been removed by now.
Regardless of proven harm, there’s been enough press that consumers are savvy & don’t want to chance “bad” ingredients.

I don't have any problems with parabens in cosmetics and skin care. There is much hype but little to no substance. I try to avoid fearmongering.

Parabens have been linked to cancer. Parabens in shampoo for example enter the bloodstream through the scalp. Many, many brands have removed parabens from their products. Best to avoid them because apparently they build up in your blood stream to unsafe levels.

Parabens and talc are a cheap ingredients in makeup. Most reputable companies won't use them. I don't know why Laura Geller continues to put these in her products. Just a cheap way out I guess. There are lawsuits against ccompanies who use talc in their products because of it being a cancer causing ingredient. That alone should have stopped Laura Geller from using it in her products. I used to use a lot of her products but once I found out the ingredients in them I stopped buying them. There are much better products out there to use. I sent an email to her company asking why they continue to use harmful ingredients in their products but never received an answer. I think they prefer money over the well being of their customers.

There is no scientific data that the parabens currently being used in most products are harmful at all.
I have used a few of LG's products and have never noticed a scent.
