Grrrr, I am so MAD at Paula's Choice. I went to purchase my Brow Defining Cream Duo and it is discontinued!
I have awful sparse eyebrows, practically bald where the tail should be. This was the ONLY product that filled them in and looked natural. I'd become quite adapt at using it for the most natural look, too.
It was a palette with a sort of tan shade on one side to outline with, then a darker brunette on the other side, a perfect consistency cream with a bit of waxiness to hold in place. You could blend, there was a little double sided applicator with a spoolie and a brush, and it lasted all day.
I would be thankful if readers could recommend a new product for me. Mascara type wands do not work for me and after using this, I don't want to return to brow powders as they wear out quick and do not look as natural. Sob!

Doll 10 has a brow product that is similar to what you described. I've had the best luck with the YBF brow pencil (HSN). I've also used Mally's brow products-both the dream brow and the brow pencil. They were both good.

I used to love Smashbox Browtech Trios, which contained two colors of powder and a wax, but they discontinued that, too.
I have not tried this, but you might want to watch this presentation for Kristofer Buckle's Brow Champion Duo. It comes with a wax pomade and two powder colors. It caught my eye because of the similarity to the Browtech I loved. I hope he brings one out for auburn hair, but the colors he offers may work for you.

I've been bummed ever since they discontinued their clear lip liner.

@PilatesLover....scroll down the Beauty forum until you see the Eye Brows thread started by Angel Puppy1. Many good suggestions there.

@PilatesLover, Check out Doll 10. P.S. Also, check out K. Buckle eye brow product. He was on a few weeks ago (he is Kelly Ripa's makeup artist).

Wow thank you everyone with the rapid answers and advice - I really appreciate it!
I know there are worse problems in the world, but having sparse/bald brows is so aging and makes me look ill. I'll check these out.

The Doll 10 formula is near identical to the Paula's Choice brow. I've used both. The Doll 10 I got in a kit is a solid color, but the ones I saw last time I looked have a swirl of a light and dark color.

I didn't like the YFB brow pencil - very hard to apply (had to press hard ouch! the opposite of "glides on.")
