The FDA has cleared specific wavelengths of red light used in LED devices. RLT masks are safe to use around the eyes but the devices have to be 'FDA approved'.

Not all RLT face masks are FDA approved.

I used my mask for about a year. Can't even think of the brand right now but Ms Silliee has the same one. I didn't have anything for it to really work on. I think I saw a slight improvement in skin clarity. Recently I've developed a line at the corner of my mouth that is working it's way down. So last night I pulled my mask out and have it recharged. To my knowledge I don't have any retina issues from using mine. Think I'll go use it right now. I just fell off my bike and have a bloody knee, the other one is scraped as well as a scraped elbow. Fibro is kicking in and my whole body is now complaining...ouch! Is this typical of being "elderly"? I'm two days in and have already had a "wreck".

@monicakm Oh, Monicakm! I'm so sorry that you fell off your bike . I fell off my bike when I was 10 and have a scar on my knee from it. Make sure to keep your cuts and scrapes clean. Wow, that must've really hurt- feel free to rest up and take it easy this weekend.

Let me explain. I was on the scooter ( that elderly people ride) that my mother gave me when she went to Assisted Living. I had just had knee surgery and was still recuperating. I keep a bottle of fire ant killer in the basket I drove it out to the mailbox today and on the way back stopped to sprinkle some of it on a fire ant mound. The wind was blowing so I had to bend over and get closer to keep the fire ant powder on the mound and not blow away. Lost my balance and fell off of the scooter. I'm surprised the scooter didn't fall on top of me. Two nasty swollen bruises, one scraped elbow and one bloody knee. We were supposed to go to the city tomorrow but now I have to wait and see how I feel. I've only been elderly for two days 🥴🙄

@monicakm Oh you're a strong lady! I can completely see that happening by accident since all you were trying to do was spray the fire ant hill and then the wind and your crouching over while on the scooter messed with your balance. Cuts and scrapes to the knees and elbows can really hurt and you'll have black and blue marks for a week or so. I know that you love going to the city, but take all of the need to rest up and let those little knees heel especially since you recently had surgery on your knee. I'm rooting for your knees to have a speedy surgical recovery .

Thank you. I'll see how I feel tomorrow. I think I need a redo for my birthday week 🫤 I'll tell DH tomorrow that we need to start over again.

I finally ordered the Current Body Series 2. I've wanted it ever since I found out about it, from here. From Sillimee I think.

I've been using my CB Series-2 mask for about 3 months now. The part that goes under the chin/lower jaw has firmed up my skin so my jawline looks more defined. It really works! My whole face just looks refreshed and better. Nothing drastic. I love it.
