[Hoping for the best]

Anyone know if the braided headband that Shawn has been wearing lately is from the Q?  Looks good on her. Perhaps she has mentioned it on-air.

Check Amazon, type in braided hair headband. I have a couple of them and really like them and they aren't expensive.

@GingerHead   Yes, I purchased several from Amazon in a greyish white. Since they are not real hair, they appear much more shiny. My stylist said to make them more natural looking, either spray with dry shampoo or since my hair is almost white, I shook a bit of baby powder on mine. I have a wide one that goes on like a head band and one that is narrow and has elastic elastic that goes under the hair at the neck...adjustable. Both from Amazon.

@Shanus  I have a thicker/kinda messy looking (in a good way, ha) one and a thinner one in my strawberry blond color and Yes! you have to dull them up a bit or they don't look as life like. I use dry shampoo but powder is a good idea as well.

Shawn's looks a little bit off to me but the ones I have aren't as big and do look more convincing.

Both mine are the elastic band type. It's so funny that Shawn just recently wore one and that this was mentioned because I actually have a headband type one in my Amazon cart now waiting.

I like them mostly when I have my hair in a low pony tail or bun. It just adds a little interest and height (but not as high as Shawn's) ala @Desertdi 's pictutre...haha

@GingerHead   I use my "braids" on 3rd or 4th day hair to give my longish (mid-neck length) more ooomph until wash day. With Shawn, her haircolor changes every time she has it colored, so she'd need several hair bands to try to get a match.

That one Shawn is wearing looks like a fishtail style braid. I'd like to find one similar. Does anyone have a rec for a specific brand?...from Amazon preferably.

The ones I bought were years ago and are just the traditional braid type and I don't remember the specific brand.

I too want a fishtail type and those are the ones I'm putting in my Amazon cart now.

So I'm just in the looking and comparing phase of my journey. haha

My problem is finding the best red/strawberry blond color to match.. I'll let you know if I find a good one.
