Jerome Alexanders Magic Minerals (Foundation)

I've learned about so many new products and neat tips on this forum that I wanted to share a recommendation for this JA mineral make-up foundation. It's quick and easy to apply and doesn't settle in the fine lines!

(I think I first saw an infomercial for this product and was intrigued).

Used and loved BE's mineral foundation for years. As I got older it was not working anymore, it settled in the undereye wrinkles so had to give that up.  I missed the coverage and ease of use. I do LOVE and use many bare minerals products : eye shadows, radiances, lip & mascara, just can no longer wear any of their powder foundations.

I searched locally and picked mine up at a Rite Aid (drugstore chain). It was in the 'As seen on TV' section, and was priced either $15-20. I will definitely be repurchasing. The only downside so far is it goes through the compact pretty quick. I started to see the bottom of the tin about three weeks in to using it. So I'm guessing it will last about 3 mos with daily use. It's worth it for me, I like it that much. It's nothing like BE, IT, or Laura Geller.

Wow, talk about a blast from the past! Do you guys remember his stacks when he was on HSN? I remember him being SO TAN! I had no idea he had a line out. Looks neat!

Is this a powder?  I was unsure from description.  I love mineral makeup because it doesn't seem to bother my skin, but since I am old now, it does seem to settle in fine lines.  Does it have decent coverage?  I need that because of rosacea.  Thanks.

Yes, I do remember him but couldn't remember what shopping channel he was on.  I was always intrigued by his "stacks" but never bought.  That has to be 10 years ago.  Wouldn't have thought he's still in business.

Hi ~ Yes, it is a powder. It also has concealer properties to it as well. I have very dark circles and this camouflages them pretty darn good. No shine, glitter, shimmer either.  There's a lot of positive reviews out there...

WOW!  Major blast from the past.  I tried this years ago and for me it was extremely drying.  Glad you like it.

Wow, he has got to be getting up there in years. We saw him in person close to 20 years ago when we took th HSN studio tour, he was on the air that day with Bobbi Ray, and yes, he was very tan and this was in December.

Just an FTI, if you are an ingredients snob, it does contain parabens and mineral oil, but is talc free.  Made in China.
