Just for fun..

I know it's been a rather disappointing time of late with QVC's lack of variety or constant repeats of ALL THINGS BEAUTY.

I am curious.  Have any of  you lovelies purchased a new nail color or lip color for the Fall season?  If you have, I'm sure we would all be anxious to hear which colors you have chosen!  PLEASE SHARE...just for fun!

I just bought Essie's " Fall in Line" , it's a lovely grayish green, perfect for fall !

@Quinny Bored w/ the same selections on repeat shows is an understatement!

I just purchased Bobbi Brown’s new lipstick formula in Grenadine....a berry, wine shade. It’s the deepest, darkest color I’ve ever worn.

Now that my hair is white instead of almost black & skin very fair...figured I’d give a darker color a try for fall/winter.

@Shanus I'll be anxious to hear how wearing  a deeper lip shade works for you.  I've been contemplating wearing a deeper shade for the past 2 fall and winter seasons, but alwyas end up staying with my usual neutral shades.  Like you, as I have matured, my skin is more fair than it used to be and the thought of a "jewel tone" lip color is enticing.

I did recently buy OPI nail polish in the color: Suzi- The First Lady of Nails. It’s an army green color and beautiful for fall.

i also ordered 2 nail polishes from KL Polish. One is the bright pink for breast cancer awareness and the other is a gray-blue called Cozy in There?

@Quinny   I think since I purchased a shade that’s not matte and more sheer, when blotted down, it works. I also apply by patting it on w/ finger not straight from tube. I may work up to a straight from the tube, full on application by winter. 🙄

@Shanus After my reply  to you, I remembered I  wanted to ask you if the lip color you purchased was matte or cream.  My sister, 58 years old has been wearing matte lipstick colors for the past two years.  They are Urban Decay lipsticks which usually are quite nice, but the matte shades are quite aging on her.  Her lips look terribly dry.  I KNOW I don't want matter, I have always worn creme or satin lipsticks.  Your application method sounds like a good way for me to introduce myself to wearing a deeper lip color!   You have convinced me, I'm going to shop this weekend for a deeper color lipstick and give it a try!  Have a good weekend!

@Quinny  The Bobbi Brown Crushed Lipstick formula is a balm/stain....more than perfect to ease into a deeper shade.....
