I've been buying this in "unscented" which I like but I'm thinking of trying a scent. I like vanilla a lot. What does the "Vanilla Pear" smell like?

Scent is a very personal thing. I really like the JM Body Butters and many fo the scents, but they are very hit or miss for me.

Personally, I don't like the Vanilla Pear scent. A lot of people love it, but it wasn't what I'd hoped for. It smells like a vanilla pear tart, not like a fresh, juicy pear with some vanilla. I liked it at first, but after a few minutes, it became cloying and heavy.

If you like a pure vanilla, her Vanilla Bean scent is wonderful. It smells light and like a true vanilla bean. I think that's my favorite JM Vanilla scent. Vanilla Apricot smells more like an apricot than vanilla and is also a nice scent.

She had a Body Butter Creamery TSV set that had a Cherry Pie scent that's exclusive to QVC until October of this year and she said somewhere on social media that it would be making a comeback. I'd look for that as a fall scent from her and that one is a cherry, vanilla and almond scent that I absolutely love. You might want to keep an eye out for that one. That's also a gourmand scent, but it didn't become cloying to me the way the Vanilla Pear does.

In all honesty my husband thinks it smells like Nestle's Strawberry Quick. I have to agree.

I love all of Josie's body butters abd vanilla bean is my favorite. I bought the 19 oz. tub of vanilla pear because vanilla bean was sold out. I like it. I think it is a true pear scent with a faint smell of vanilla. Fresh and fruity. Perfect for this time of year.
