Don't let them convince you it isn't glittery - it is - you can't see it until you get out in the light then boom - all over your face like you've been hanging christmas decorations!  I had it on a couple of times and got in the car one day and looked in the rear view mirror and was shocked at the glitter - came in and washed my face and never used it again.  I have a friend that uses it and I'm sure she has no idea her face has glitter all over it.

I do not find it glitteryl

I like the CC cream, but I'm so over the majority of her products.  On to the next!! Not interested!

IMO the IT illuminating CC cream is not glittery at all.

Gosh am I that different? I wonder why. I pre-ordered this and like everything. I put the illumination cream over a moisturizer. Up close there is tiny tiny sparkle but it does not show not at least on me! It gives the appearance of a very slight glow, something that flatters my skin. I wear the medium and am a light-medium olive. It's a perfect match, needs a few minutes to mesh with my skin and then it looks like no makeup, just good skin.

I like the mascara! It does what it says, and lasts throughout the day without smearing or flaking and I have long lashes. They have thinned out with age but the length is still there so I appreciate the color (a true black) and volume.

The lip balm is nice, feels great, stays on well; color maybe meh not much playoff, which is too bad because it would be a great natural color for me. I'll take it any day over the original je ne sais quoi that bubble gum blue pink no thank you!

The brush is great.

Subsequent shipments are $10 less and include brow power.

So it's not a lot of items but the few in it do a really good job. I'd rather have few that work well than a lot that are superfluous, which is what I've thought about most other makeup TSVs. Hope this helps.

I feel the same way, I've already received the set too. Love everything!

I'm still thinking about it, but I'll only do the first shipment if I do.  I don't use it every day for one reason.  Not particularly worried about that so much since the tube collapses as the product comes out, so I would expect it to stay fresh, but I don't need to get that far ahead.  Plus, I doubt I would use up the lip color and I don't use that style eyebrow pencil; I use brush-on eyebrows.

Basically, I look at it as a more than double-sized foundation for less than double the price.  The regular sized (1.08 oz) CC Illumination is $38 on Ulta.  So, 2.53 oz for $60 not even counting the other items is a deal.

Re: It Cosmetics Tsv

[ Edited ]

I preordered in fair and light. Just a head's up, the shades, even though the names are the same are a half shade lighter than usual. No idea why, but I swatched them all and they are. So if you need it a little lighter than the usual shades, great. Otherwise you may want to order a shade darker.

It has as much, or more shimmer than usual Illumination CC. It's there, takes some people a while to notice. I wear it anyway. Trust me though it's like when your shimmer from blush or shadow has fallout on your face, but it's all over. From a distance it's fine and I like how my skin looks. I like the formula slightly better than the non-illuminating CC for color and moisture.

If you want the brush and at least one of the items, its worth it. I tried and don't like the mascara. Applies clumpy and flakes pretty easily.

The lip balm barely has any color on my lips. It's fine, though may be causing some bumps near my lip.

Also there are 2 sample foil packets under the clear plastic in the box, so don't pitch them accidentally.

I look like the tin man with any if their illuminating products.  Indoors they look lovely but I like to go out!  The sun makes my skin look like a disco ball hit it.  Not a fan.

I can't seem to figure the cc illumination out. I thought Sandra looked great (blush and eyeshadow were great too) while most of the other cc illumination demos looked heavy and tin man-ish. Perhaps Sandra had some powder on top... I still might try the TSV as I'm almost done with my regular cc

The illumination formula is lighter than the regular CC foundation- That's the only virtue for me.  I don't like the finish- not exactly sparkles even in the sunlight, but too much glow and I have dry skin.  A friend with the same coloring gave me her tube and I used it once with no plans to use again.  With finishing powder it would probably help cut the shine.  Too high maintenance for my routine.

The regular CC is very thick and heavy.  A while back I bought a tube at Ulta and at least found a way to finish the tube. I can get it to work by mixing with my Ready to Wear serum foundation to thin it out. I also apply with a damp beauty blender.  I think you get the picture- heavy coverage isn't for me.  And at least the illuminating formula is a lighter coverage.

So, if you like a lighter formula with a shiny finish which can be powdered to help cut the shine,  you might like this honker-sized tube.  The brush, mascara, and lip balm are a yawner.  Very easy pass for me.
