Re: Issues with Skinn Products

@JeanLouiseFinch, @Mothertrucker, @nyc1...First...I was responding to nyc1 comment about how she added Salicylic Acid to her Creme Reverse...I wasn't sure if she was serious or just "being silly"...next Mothertrucker...I'm well aware what this item is used for, so I'm not sure why Dimitri would add it to a Primer, when the primary reason to use it is to "set & prepare" your face for foundation...NOT exfoliate or peel?

I've already contacted my Derm Doc, & he told me absolutly NOT to use any products with Salicylic Acid since it defintily will exacerbate my Asthma...just trying to be helpful! TY

Probably totally off topic, but how do you get your Derm to call you back for a cosmetic question?? I can barely get in to see mine and I've been a patient for years!  Do you actually tell them you have a question on a cosmetic and they call you back? If so, I need to find another doctor!!

@wenfen   THANK YOU for catching that...    my mistake.  I meant HYALURONIC ACID...  ooops.    It's wonderful in Creme Reverse. I also add it to body lotion.  Sorry for my mistake.  Wrong acid!!!!!

I've made a try with several of these products over the years.

Over all they were too heavy for my liking.  I use very little to nothing in the way of make-up, so that eliminated lots of the line.

The treatment creams, etc. were IMO, HEAVY, and a bit greasy.

Hi @Drythe - can you please share with us the specific Skinn products that you have used?

Thank you!

Such a vague criticism and no response to a request for the specific Skinn products that are 'heavy and greasy'. Hmmm.....

I've read these 'heavy and greasy' complaints about some hair care items Q sells, maybe that's what you mean?

@Chi-town girl, are you referring to Wen products? I think that @Drythe loves that line of haircare and would be unlikely to make such a criticism.

@Chi-town girl

You made your request of me, even though several others in the post mentioned the same issue.

THEN:  within a day you follow up to me with pointed / chastising comments about “vague criticisms and no response (to your request for) specifics”. Mighty quick response time you expect.

I would have been glad to supply specifics in my own time frame re: various SKINN products I have used if you had not felt it necessary to add additional neg. comments about my not answering quickly enough to meet your time line + unrelated remarks about “hair care items”.  Now, I have no interest answering your original, or any other questions. Hmmm.

Thank you!

@suzyQ3

You are correct, I am a WEN lover, guess that explains the OPs comment about “hair care items” which was no where in the discussion.
