Cause if she sweated like I do at the gym, she would be too funky and greasy to go in public without doing SOMETHING to it.I sweat if I workout but I don't smell & my hair doesn't get oily, ever. I could easily just refresh my hairstyle with my flat iron & nobody would know it wasn't washed.

On 1/15/2014 FUTURE said: Yeah, mine isn't like that. Mine is greasy and sweaty and drenched. If I took a flatiron to it, it would look greasy and sweaty....and dry and flat. Lol!! To each their own. I just think it's gross.
Lol! If I washed mine everyday you'd think it was a rats nest!

Just saw a commercial on E! for "Tresemme 7 Day Keratin Smooth Heat Activated Treatment"...they promoted it as a leave-in for 7 days...I assume gals aren't washing every day with stuff like this...yes? Also, when you sweat, you're doing a mini-detox...the more you sweat over time, the less "greasy & funky" you should have. ![]()

I know ALOT of posters won't believe this but...since the No Poo Movement is so popular within the vegan/raw world, DIET plays a lot with the absence of smell. "You are what you eat"...if ingesting only clean food fruits/veggies (absent of any animal product), you won't have a lot of body odor....and that includes your head, as well. I've witness that 1st hand.
</ OMG! I've been saying this for at least 10 years! I truly think dairy is the culprit when it comes to BO & body funk. I have never been smelly or stinky even on the rare occasion that I sweat but I don't consume very much dairy. Cultures that consume high amounts of dairy seem to omit that funky kind of smell. I insist that there's a direct correlation between dairy consumption & body odor!
I agree. I'm eating more plant based stuff and very little of the rest, including dairy. Mother's milk is the best for humans. Once we're weaned, we don't need milk. Watch Udderly Amazing (maybe it's on you tube). It makes perfect sense.

I keep a quart or 1/2 gallon on hand in case a recipe calls for it but 99% of the time, it spoils before I can use it. I'm experimenting with almond & coconut milk for recipes but I still love my BUTTER!!!!On 1/15/2014 jerseygyrl said:On 1/15/2014 Kjelle said:I come from a place where I grew up with many different cultures (US military base) & I also have a job where I deal with a decent cultural cross section. LOL!
Yeah, ugh, no. I'm a new WEN convert so I get not wanting to use certain types of products, but I can't imagine using NOTHING--and then bragging about it. That's like bragging that you don't use soap on your body. What's the point, really?
