Loving One New Foundation, Returning Another!!!!

I've admitted to being a foundation junkie on here before so I just wanted to share with the rest of you who are always looking for the next best foundation. I recently received Lorac's POREfection Foundation in the shade Light/Medium. It is absolutely lovely. Really nice med to full coverage without being cakey or pastey, easy to blend and dries to a slight satin finish that is neither dry and matte looking or too shiny. I am fair with normal to slightly dry skin and this feels and looks great. It has 20spf which I like and is oil and paraben free but feels soft on my skin. So glad I ordered it. On the other hand, I am returning Josie Maran's Tinted Moisturizer in Light. I thought since it was a moisturizer with Argan oil it would make my skin feel nice. It is like putting on paste when it dries and looks dull and lifeless on my skin.It gives an very opaque look. Also it is very yellow toned to the point where it makes my face a different color than my neck. Not pleased with this at all. so that's my foundation update for the day!!!! LOL

Thanks for the information. I might have to try the Lorac. I've always loved B&B but lately it seems sort of drying and while I'm currently using it and alternating with an Olay CC, which I really like, I'm always interested in something that might be better!

virgosun, are you referring to Lorac's powder foundation by that name? That's the only one I see on their site. But they say that the liquid form (which is what I would want) is coming out in the spring.

I googled it and found it, though, at HSN, in a set with primer.

Yes it is the liquid version that came with the primer which I also like.

virgosun, you mention that you're fair. Can you tell me whether the light/medium shade has a yellow tone or pink tone or neutral?

I would say the foundation is neutral because it works perfectly with my skin tone and I have basically no pink or yellow in my skin. I like it because it is not that real porcelain shade that is too white and ghostly for me!

Thanks for the info on Lorac - I ordered it today - in combo with the primer. Since I've never ordered from HSN I got a 15% off promo code too. I'm always looking for a better foundation - I'm between neutral fair and medium too - can't wait to try it.
