...do I use Vitamin C cream and the Alpha Skin Care 10% Glycolic acid cream?

I use hydro shield every morning then my moisture product...can the Alpha cream take the place of my moisturizer and then use the vitamin C at night?  Then there is the sun screen for daily use before my foundation...I feel like I am putting a lot on my face before I use foundation.

I just added the vitamin C to my skin care and not sure where it belongs in my routine.

thank you

@Mom2Dogs  - I use Vit C in the morning and AHA at night.  In the morning, use a toner, BHA from Paula's Choice, Vit C, Azelaic Acid and then moisturizers.  At night, I cleanse, AHA, niacinamide, discoloration serum (all from Paula's Choice) then moisturizers.  Hope this helps you figure out where to apply your skin care.

Re: In what order...

@Mom2Dogs

Apply Vitamin C on clean dry skin followed by sunscreen and moisturizer for daytime. Always use VC under sunscreen.  Glycolic is best used alone at night. You'll get the most out it that way.

But if you are going to apply GA during the daytime then apply it after the VC and, depending on mineral or chemical sunscreen, there will be a different order of application there. Pay attention to skin sensitivity issues if you go that route.

Chemical ss goes right on top of VC, followed by GA/moisturizer/makeup.

Mineral ss goes on after GA/moisturizer as the last step before makeup.
