Hi, my name is CJ and I’m so glad to have found this forum! Despite being 65, you’d be surprised at how VERY little I know about make-up and facial beauty products.
(no one ever taught me 😢). I am in DESPERATE need of 2 products especially. 1) Something for under eye bags. No dark circles and very few wrinkles there. BUT the bags are out of control! Funds are a BIG issue, but I’m willing to try ALMOST anything!! And 2) I have, let me just say it, a very ugly face. Terrible acne scars and A LOT of a sort of brown discoloration. NO evenness at all. In the past, I didn’t seem to like liquid foundation so I only used powder. Either bad luck or stupidity, EVERYTHING made me look like bad makeup on a clown! So I just quit and decided to be ugly. Maybe finding this forum is my Christmas gift from God, cause I seriously always feel the need to have people see me when/IF I ago anywhere. (being 80 lbs. overweight only adds to my grief.) Sorry for rambling but if anyone out there can offer proven ideas, maybe I could smile a little more often. Many thanks and God Bless! 🙏 ✝️ 🧑🏻‍🎄 🎄

Try watching your salt intake and cut back to see if that helps your eye bags.

There are many threads about under-eye bags and dark circles. That would be a place to start looking for info.

@Giving Up, I have poor skin and am much older then you. Don't look down on yourself. I really like Laura Gren.tinted moisturizer and have order Dr.  Denise "on Amazon "Many products I check on Qvc. Like reading the reviews. Amazon also gives reviews  and will say if item is returned frequently. I don't use a foundation. I like the tinted comditioners. Covers well and also covers pores. Read reviews on the Q They show "TOP SELLER" To much foundation really shws on poor skin.Keep trying!!! HANG IN THERE!!    Sligo

@Giving Up

@SilleeMee  gave you great advice....you need to read and get a feel for what folks are saying about different makeup products as well as issues of all types for the dreaded eye bags.   ( Simple but sure thing: surgery is once and done no other potions and lotions needed.  Yes it costs, but the results are transformative.  Had it done many years ago when I was in my early 40's, still looks great at 80. )

I am saddened with all the negative things you say from @Giving Up user name to little things.  Skin discoloration scan be treated ( check the topics here ).  The "ugly" comment made me want to cry:  Features can change with just a smile...check your attitude, it may be projecting something that isn't true or you really do not want to project.  Every one of us has talents...reaching out to others will bring you support.

I was disappointed to learn that "eye bags" are just a part of aging!

Not much you can do about them.  Good Luck.

Hope you find something that works for you!
