I bought IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup Melting Balm and Confidence in a Cream Moisturizer. The first use I loved them both, my skin was so hydrated, pores reduced just wonderful. On the third use my skin burned, became even redder than normal and my face erupted in bumps. I tried isolating to see which product was the culprit and it seemed neither were good for me. I had such high hopes because Jaime's skin is very much like mine with her redness/rosacea.  So sadly I cancelled auto delivery and gave the two products to my daughter. IT CC cream and the Celebration powder foundation does NOT bother my skin.

Does anyone have any advice as to what to use for an anti-aging skin care line that is gentle for the skin but gives amazing hydration, fine lines and pore reduction that QVC carries?

Re: IT Line and Sensitive Skin

I'm not sure if this will give you the amazing hydration that you are looking for, but I use Josie's Moisturizer with an spf47.  I put a little argan oil (not Josie's) on a few areas before I apply the moisturize (cheeks, top of nose).  I have sensitive skin so many things make me break out or worse.  Plus, it's hard to find a physical, not chemical spf.  I found that in this moisturizer!  I came back to using Philosophy's Purity after trying several other cleansers.  I'm always reading ingredients, and haven't found that perfect one for my skin yet.  I might try Josie's cleansing oil.

I do use several foundations---the It Celebration foudnation and the IT liquid in the pressed form, in addiiton to the presssed form of BE.  I know that everyone is different, but hope that you get some other ideas from people who have sensitive skin!

Thanks for the reply. I do use Josie's Argon oil for extra hydration but do not notice any extras with it : ie pores reduced, fine lines blurred, skin brightening however it soothes my skin and does well hydrating it. I think I will check out her moisturizer.  I was thinking of trying the Philosophy line but I just want to find a skin care line that works and stick with it Smiley Happy

I highly recommend Paula's Choice for all skin, but especially for sensitive skin. You can buy it on QVC, but I purchase it on their website (they usually have promos). You can call them for a consultation, and they will send you samples.

I'm another person who can't use IT products as they contain too many ingredients to which I'm allergic.  My derm did allergy testing so I know what I need to avoid.  I must admit that I sometimes wonder if Jamie's complexion would be less red if she stopped using her products.

Re: IT Line and Sensitive Skin

I use a lot of IT Cosmetic products but her Bye Bye Melting cleanser made my eyes water and run for an hour the three nights in a row that I used it. I sent it back! Other than that  I have had no other problems with any of their other products.

I had to send her new eye cream back because it caused my eyes to swell and become red. I also will not reorder the moisturizing cream because it breaks me out, I'm using it as hand cream to use it up. I think I'll stick to Isomer's products.

Yes, I would recommend Paula's Choice, as well.

I'm not a fan of the Paula's Choice cleansers because they all leave me feeling dry and I use an oil cleanser instead, but her serums, moisturizers, and exfoliating products are all fantastic.

So do I, @ChynnaBlue. I bet PC will eventually come out with one.

I agree with Paula's Choice - the line has some amazing products. But I too do not like the cleansers as they make my skin feel dry and/or tight and I too use an oil cleanser instead. I keep writing PC asking them to make an oil cleanser but it would have to be amazing because I already love my current facial cleansing oil. But if anyone could make me try another cleanser, it would be PC because her formulas often work so well for my skin and no potential irritants included like so many other brands use! Good luck!
