I thought about posting about my ordeal with the virus. But I decided not to. What I can say is that a big concern regarding my admission into the hospital is that I have scleroderma and I was having severe difficulty breathing. My rheumy initiated the admission. I have other symptoms from the virus...many including neuropathy, skin changes and really bad brain fog and memory loss. My rheumy is very concerned about my future with recovering from this illness with having scleroderma. I also have pre-existing heart, lung and kidney involvement from the scleroderma. It looks as though my recovery may me a long and uncertain one.

@SilleeMee, I just now saw this post.

I'm so sorry you had such a harrowing experience and more uncertainty ahead.   My prayers for you and for your medical team.   As you can see by this thread, you are precious to so many of us.❤️

@SilleeMee welcome back! It's so great to see you on here again. I hope you recover completely with no lingering effects from the coronavirus. I had it too but was fortunate to only experience mild symptoms. Unfortunately, I still don't have my senses of smell and taste back 100% after three and a half months but hopefully, I'll eventually regain them. I look forward to seeing you post again. All the best! ❤

Texas Mouse, I'm sorry that you also had the virus. I'm glad that it was only a mild case. Best wishes for a complete recovery to get your senses of smell and taste back. Prayers and all the best to you.

@Texasmouse,  I echo @Luvtuna's lovely sentiments and add my prayers for your complete recovery.❤️
