lyn...What shade do you wear in the Celebration Foundation (if you have it)? I have more of a light to barely medium skin tone. I wear the Medium Beige (says on the back of the compact) in the Celebration Foundation, but I wear a Fair in the LG Balance & Brighten. (I know...crazy!) I used to wear Light or Med. Beige in BE. Do you think the Light would work for me? Based on your picture, I think the fair would be too light for me.
Crush~ I have the same coloring as you, EVERY brand and color, you stated is what I use. I have tried a sample of cc cream in medium. It is wearable but a bit dark. I am going with the light. Hope this helps

Is your photo is the first swatch (left) Light or Fair? Thanks so much...... The shades are very helpful, once I know which is which!!

Lynn -- the reason I am asking about the shades is that I ordered the Light -- and it had very little color. I am wondering if it was mislabeled. I always wear Light in just about all foundations. I have slight yellow undertones. The product I received actually made my skin look grey -- it was awful!! But, I did like the texture and coverage and am not quite ready to give up on it.
Thanks for all the help you give us....So much appreciate!!

I just received the IT CC Cream and tried it today. I ordered the light. I don't like it at all. I have a cool undertone, looked a little too yellow on me and it did nothing for me. It made my skin look more dried out. It's going back. When will I learn my lesson. It's much cheaper to try drug store brands.

So, I will take a break from this and see what happens and then add it back. I have both Fair and Light and have tried to mix them as well. I love the finish. I usually use BE original in Fairly Light. I did buy the IT Bye Bye Pores finishing powder but retyrned it. I do prefer a finishing powder always. HTHElla, I feel bad that you got no answers. I have it in fair. I am sensitive to silicones in liquid make-up. It doesn't cause any major acne issues on me, although I can't be sure it doesn't cause any whatsoever. I do top it with a little powder because it's a little more glow than I like, but you don't need to. I actually wore it yesterday without moisturizer simply because I forgot to put it on first, lol!
As far as colors, I have to accept that fair works better on me than light even though I want the light to work. The fair looks too light as it's applied but morphs to the right shade as it dries. Fair is very neutral, light has more of a peachy tone and is more pigmented. Light is prettier but I don't want my make-up to show at the jawline and it does in light. HTH

Lyn...thanks for your reply to my question. I think I'll try the Light.
jewelsluvsbeauty...Thanks for your reply. I did think the medium would be too dark. I just hope the light works! That fair even looks interesting to me, but I'll go with the light!

If there's 10 shades of foundation I usually wear the next to the lightest. I have samples of fair and light. I wore fair yesterday and it seemed to make my pores show up more and as the day wore on filled every tiny crease.(didn't know I had so many) It also made my skin look dry, not luminescent. I applied it with a stipple brush. The color seemed perfect. Today I used my fingers to apply the light. The color seemed quite a bit darker, like a bronzer had been applied. My skin didn't appear dry and my pores looked much better. I made sure to blend near my neck so I wouldn't have a line.
Do you think the difference in the application made the difference or the color? Could I have used too much using the brush? Would the darker color camouflage better? I have cool undertones.

I've read a lot of reviews and not many people mention having problems, which is encouraging, I'm just wondering about your experiences. Also, would it work to use powder foundation over this for extra coverage? Thanks for any feedback you can give me!
I posted on the weekend about seeing one of the makeup gurus on YouTube, TiffanyD, who posted a great review. She has acne prone skin sometimes, as I do, and loves this product. Look for her channel and check out her video on this. Its worth your time and its excellent. Hope this helps.
