Yep! Lady in my mall does it. Been wanting to try this for a while, so today I got the upper lip done. Amazing! Smooth, not one hair, and took about 5 minutes. Sure did hurt...made my eyes tear. I had a few right under the nose, and she got them too...those really hurt, but, worth it. Cost $7.00. Now I'll see how long it lasts, and get more done next time. She said, the more you do it, the less the hair grows back. I heard that too, and it weakens the root.

I think it hurts too, but I love the results. IMHO it's more precise than any waxing I've ever had.

I got my brows done for the first time a couple weeks ago. It did hurt a bit, but very much worth it. The last couple ppl I went to did a horrible job. One of stylist told me the two girls who did it best and I waited for one. It was an 8 buck bargain!

I have my eyebrows threaded every 4 weeks. I love it! The pain is not bad, and results last longer than waxing. Less expensive too! Sometimes I get a combo of waxing and threading - depending how I'm feeling that day and how much time I have.

I've been having it done for over a year, and wish I tried it sooner. Where I live, places that do it are everywhere! Kiss

I think the whole deal depends on the beautician. I had my eyebrows waxed on Friday, for the first time in my life, and the discomfort was next to nothing, and if I do say so myself, it sure makes my eyes look great!

I have my whole face threaded 3 or 4 times a year. It's amazing how smoothly makeup goes on when all the peach fuzz is gone. I've been doing it for several years and have no plans to ever stop. BUT I use OTC numbing cream before I go - it makes for a much nicer experience!!

Me, too. And the area under my brows. It is hard for me to get the little hairs there.

The peach fuzz on my face comes back so fast even with epilating that I don't think it would be worthwhile for me to have it threaded regularly. I need to epilate my facial hair every day to keep it smooth.

Threading is said to be more time-consuming but also more precise than epilating, removing one row of hair at a time, so it is smething I might do for a special occasion....though I can't think of many occasions I might have that are that special. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I have trust issues where my brows are involved. I finally had my brows waxed once & hated them.
