I wish Chaz would have a treating oil that would also serve to keep insects away - wouldn't it be lovely to be outside enjoying the day without being eaten alive by mosquitos, black flies, etc. I know many of the oils like orange, lavender, lemon, etc also repeal insects, ticks and fleas...

I hate use the chemical stuff on me or on my new pup...

I'm going to try the Tea Tree oil and the TT replenishing mist and see if that helps any, you never know, it might work great. I don't like the use the bug repellents and need to because of the West Nile Virus.

I use the te tree RTM last summer. Our neighbors don't tend their yards and I cannot go out there without be eaten alive in 5 minutes. It worked, to the point my DH also asked me for it.

I am a mosquito magnet!! Our camp is in a very swampy area, and I have to venture outside of the screened porches to walk the dogs. I have never, ever had a single mosquito bite while I have a scalp full of tea tree oil.........never. For me, the tea tree RTM doesn't work as well as the oil, the scent fades much more quickly.

What about just plain citronella oil or tea tree? I wouldn't want to waste my beautiful WEN on mosquitos! Smiley Happy

Tea tree and lavender oils can help to repel insects. Also the may chang fruit oil in the sweet almond mint oil repels insects. The orange peel oil in the Spring orange blossom oil helps to repel mosquitos.

Yep, tea tree and lavender are known bug repellents.
