Isomers Copper P makes my face feel & look moisturized. Also adding Isomers H Pur (Sodium Hyaluronate). I also take Omega 3 fish oil which I think has helped keep my skin from being so dry. I will be getting out our humidifier to use soon.

Coconut oil! It's fantastic and doesn't have any harmful chemicals. It's very rich and not greasy...smells great too! I use it as a moisturizer and eye makeup remover.
I also like some of the Skinn products. I use Stem Rejen Face & Eye Serums, Skinn Olive & Enzyme cleanser, Skinn Hydro-surge deep moisture lifting treatment & Skinn Collagenesis Essential Radiance Anti aging body oil.
These have all made a huge difference for my skin.

Hi,
I do not really have dry skin but at some point I noticed constant dehydration.
I changed my cleanser from an oil to Ren's Cleansing Balm with an Eve Lom Muslin cloth. I only use the cloth with warm/hot water in the morning.
I also found relief with Ren's Vita Mineral Rescue Balm in the evening. It is an emollient cream that you warm up just a bit. This goes over my PTR Retinol Fusion.
During the day I use PTR sunscreen mixed with First Aid Beauty's Daily Face Cream.
I believe the change in cleanser and the elimination of cleanser in the morning has made a big difference. My skin is far more supple and moist. I have not experienced that feeling of having to add something to make my face look and feel hydrated.

You and others who have mentioned cleanser bring up a great point. Years ago when I was using Retin A -- THE thing that made the difference between dry and flaky or not, was the cleanser I used. At the time, I used Cetaphil, but there are so many out there now that are just as thorough and gentle. So yes, make sure the cleanser isn't doing harm!

I also found cleansing once a day is better for my skin too. However, I only cleanse in the morning and only apply products then. I do nothing at all to my skin at night. My skin looks much better since I started doing this.
I used to cleanse twice a day when I was younger, but my older skin won't tolerate the same routine. I really have to be more gentle with my skin now.

Try taking 4 Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil caps daily, this lubricates the tissues from the inside out. Contains Omega 7 oil, Do some research on it.

Tons of info here thank you. You asked about cleanser. My main cleanser is Philosophy.. I also have and use Tatcha. For some reason Philosophy makes me feel like I have clean skin. While the others work I don't know that I feel clean (maybe just in my head). I do drink lots of water! So much so that I am running to the BR all the time (could be old age too). I have tried so many products in my time I really don't know what works and what doesn't anymore. To be quite honest I am sick of all the skincare. I just want clean moist skin. I will take all this info and see what works. Oh and I do have the Acure Night Cream not sure if I like it but will try it again. Thank you all so much greatly appreciated. Oh and I would love to use Skinn products but can't tolerate his products do to the overwhelming fragrance.

I do the opposite most days. I cleanse at night and in the morning, just rinse and reapply my skincare. Even if I don't wear makeup, I need to wash sunscreen off at the end of the day.

I used Purity for a while and liked it, but when I switched to a more hydrating cleanser, I realized Purity stripped my skin more than I thought. When I switched again to a balm, I realized that even the hydrating cleanser was stripping my skin more than I thought. Once I stopped doing that, it was much easier to keep my skin balanced and avoid dryness.

If you mean Philosophy Purity, I found it extremely drying. My skin is dry, I live in a very dry climate. Recently I made a change in my routine. I have been using cream cleansers at night, ones that take off makeup as well as cleanse. I bought the Skinn TTV that had the cleansers and the Dermapeel. I had been using Dr Gross's pads, I find the Dermapeel once a week has helped create a good surface for my moisturizer to really soak in.
So at night I now use the Skinn pm cleanser and Isomers copper serum, in the morning I use the am cleanser with my clarisonic. Then I follow with the Dr Gross pads, his retinol serum, Isomers Copper Ceramide cream, then Dr Gross ferulic moisturizer. Yes, I use two creams. This combo is keeping my skin smooth, hydrated, the fine lines are kept at bay. I cannot use a moisturizer at night because it interferes with the seal of my cpap mask (for sleep apnea).Once a week I treat my face to 100% Pure hydrating balm. It is thick, only need a little bit.
Other cream cleansers that I have liked are Clinique Comforting Cream Cleanser, Nia 24 cream cleanser, and just plain Jojoba Oil. Josie Maran's Bare Naked cloths are great for travel, they do not have to go into the quart bag and they get off all my makeup when I follow with a damp, warm washcloth.
