Okay so last night I heard Dimitri say he wasn't wealthy! REALLY?!  I don't begrudge him, making money, he deserve what he has, he is passionate and hard working.  But please don't try to tell me your not wealthy. Anyone that is on as often as he is and selling kits in the thousands has to be well off.

What you consider "wealthy" and what Dimitri considers wealthy are probably two different things.

@febe1, That's possible, however Dimitri appears to be a (mega)millionaire.  His home was featured last year in Palm Springs Life Magazine and I think he is shown driving a maserati in an evine.com video.  Based on those facts, I think many would consider him financially wealthy, or else he is very, very deep in debt.

He obviously lives BIG and spends lots of money on himself. I feel how he wants to spend his money is his business. Whatever makes him happy. He appears to work very hard for however much he has. Many people have what some would call wealth, but they themselves don't think so.

I hear hosts and vendors on the Q lie all the time. I think Dimitri is naturally honest most of the time.

@febe1, I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding Dimitri and his money.  He clearly works very hard, and imho, he deserves the financial reward that goes along with building a very successful company.  I find it difficult to believe that Dimitri doesn't consider himself wealthy at this point in his life, but that's my issue.

I say this, @lyn in MI, because I've seen it with wealth. People with a lot of money just don't think it's ever enough. And they compare themselves a lot. I've seen people with huge amounts of money and they talk like they're at poverty's door. It doesn't matter. I think in their business, exaggeration abounds. 8)

I think that Dimitri is a lot of fun and his selling style doesn't particularly bother me. At least he's an owner/vendor who knows his product line well. He's also a vendor at TSC in Canada and his line must sell as he's on TV at least once every couple of months.

I think that there are enough cosmetic and skin care lines to please most everyone. I don't use the Skinn line but I have a couple of his books.

The approach of asking people to purchase dozens of his products that would cost nearly a thousand dollars seems pretty greedy and presumptuous.

I actually think that in the case of this DWP TTV, he made an excellent point for those who are current users of the DWP Age Reset.  The kit cost 2 cents less than Age Reset on its own.  I think the TTV represents a great value and for that reason, I agree with his point to order 12 kits to take full advantage of the value.  I wouldn't recommend a new user make such a purchase.

No fib here. Google Palm Springs Life Magazine February 2014 if you want to see his home in all its splendor! Then you can see who the real fibber is. Smiley Happy

Doesn't sound like a fibber to me.  He's worked hard for everything he has.  If I was him and working and making good money, I'd have that beautiful house also.  Sounds like jealousy to me.  You could have that house also if you worked hard enough and made good money.  Good luck to you.

I don't care for the hard sell he does. He and the hosts constantly say you should buy 3 and 4 of everything. I don't like someone spending my money I can't afford to buy multiplies of everything. I watch a lot of QVC and HSN and I can't recall any other vendor who does this.

@Jordan2   Yes,he really is like a used car salesman in his sales tactics.....rather tacky! I am starting not to believe him any more the more I listen to his repeating the same lines over and over... I think he has become greedy.

I especially dislike when he says a certain kit is "My gift to you. I'm not making any money off it". Are some really that gullible?

Are we now operating under the premise that if everyone else does it its okay? He got the contents of the capsule in an elderly woman's eyes this afternoon and told her to buck up and be a professional! " when I leave here I don't have another job this is all I do!" He can be extremely insulting to the models and I think he takes things further than most. Apparently he's the only one on the planet that knows what he's doing and actually cares about his consumers. Yes everyone else is selling product too but not everyone is as catty or using so much energy to pat themselves on the back. I used to enjoy watching him but I think he's gotten progressively worse over the years and I have been turning him off.

I am always amazed when people begrudge others for doing well and having nice things because they are successful business people. And then when they are successful and have nice things, that has somehow become a bad thing. I suppose successful people should all live like Mother Theresa or like paupers.

I havent seen him drive a Maserati but I thought he was driving a Mercedes Benz convertible. I am sure he is very well off. He may say things like he's doesn't consider himself wealthy because he wants to make a connection with his customers. I wouldn't expect him to say I've done very well for myself" while he's selling his products.

I do think his products are extremely well priced and like some other vendors, even though he now has a veyr loyal customer base, he doesn't up those prices to high end department store brands. If he's rich, he's rich. So be it. Good for him.

I'm done with P.C. Just say what you mean and mean what you say. It's easier.
