Waterline Liner Suggestions Needed

I'm looking for a stay-put waterline liner. I like the more minimal summer look of liner only on the waterline- upper and lower. For a night-time look I can always use shadow to do a line and crease on the upper lid.

Right now I'm using Skinn's Smudge Stick in Egyptian Clay- an older shade I picked up on eBay. It's kind of a dark brown with maybe a little eggplant cast to it in a matte formula. This works beautifully- but, I need a back up in a pencil only- preferably retractable. I don't have the patience to use gels with a separate brush.

Not all colors of Skinn Smudge Sticks wear the same- especially the shimmery ones. They don't stay on the waterline, at least on me, at all. Besides, I prefer matte.

I've read DoirShow waterproof liners are budge proof. Any other suggestions? TIA.

I ran across this link: http://www.temptalia.com/hit-list-best-eyeliner-waterline

Maybe it'll help others with the same dilemma.

Hello Fun, how are you doing girlfriend?

I don't use liner of any kind, so I'm not much help.

Of course, use everything make-up product known to man{#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I'm Loving Marc Jacobs Blaquer. I have the skyliners set and love it. Don't think its available anymore it was a holiday release. But you can buy most separately and swatch them at Sephora.

These are the best eyeliners I have ever tried.

Benefit Bad Gal is the only one that lasts when I tightline on the water line. Urban Decay 24/7 is good but the Benefit really lasts.

I've been using the Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner and it is the best I've found for doing the waterline. Lasts all day! My favorite color is the turquoise but the light blue works great too.

Thanks ladies! I've heard a couple of times Rimmel ScandalEyes works well. I bet the turq is beautiful on you, sikyk.Time to go to Walgreens to shop around. I'll check out Benefit next time I'm at Sephora. We'll be in Manhattan in about a week and want to visit my fave Sephora in SoHo.

There's been some great drugstore finds lately that I've been wanting to share with you all. I'll save it for another post. Maybe we can trade good drugstore / bargain finds.

Hi there, SisterGoldenHair! {#emotions_dlg.wub} Hope all is well with you! Yes, you're quite the makeup maven. Heck.. like me, you love your beauty products in general. I've picked up some awesome beautifiers due to your recs. Let's see...I'm betting you still love your Wen, Jane Iredale and Blinc mascara. See there! I may be getting old but can remember more than my own name. Wink

Interesting kathie66. This is a new one for me. Not Marc Jacobs of course, but the product Blaquer. Thanks! You've piqued my curiosity. Smile

Re: Waterline Liner Suggestions Needed

I will second the Marc Jacobs liners which do not budge. I prefer a wider eyed , larger eye look for daytime and so rarely line the waterline as it closes up the eyes. However, when I want a true smoke eye, this liner does the trick and stays put.
