When you touch the mouth of a makeup bottle or use an eyeliner or eyebrow pencil, bacteria can be introduced.
@ECBG Quite true, but makeup bottles or pumps should be pumped or poured on hand or plastic/glass palette instead of directly on face. Hands always washed (even before Covid) before doing makeup. Cream products get tossed because, once opened & exposed to air, they don't tend to last as long as powders. Go by consistency and odor. Eye liners & lip liners? I use ones that I can sharpen to keep sanitary. The automatic types sometimes tend to break off anyway.
***Changing pillowcases every few days is a "given" with night time skincare, hair products and natural oils. Satin or silk ones help prevent facial wrinkles and frizzy hair.
