The reason why I posted this pic was to show that it's one way of applying tret to avoid unnecessary irritation and flaking in certain areas. It's, by no means, written in stone that you have to apply it that way but just as a tret beginner I think it's a good way to apply tret. If you miss a spot don't worry b/c tret will migrate sideways under the skin to places where you might have missed. So over time your skin will adjust all over your face and then you might apply it all over w/o too many concerns once your skin has adjusted.


I hate to say this, but these are the areas women show signs of aging.  (Maybe not eyelids or the nose.)  But definately the outer corners of the eyes--smile lines and I don't mind mine...yet).  But above the upper lip and around the mouth.  The chin doesn't seem to show age except maybe in the case of jowls.
