I guessed last time I used it. I know the Wen pets says 2oz for up to 25 lbs. Honestly there is no way my little 5 lb long hair chihuahua needs 2oz of CC lol. I think last time I bathed her I used about 4 pumps from the 16oz bottle and mixed it with about a cup of water and shook it up. I was trying to somewhat follow the Wen pets directions even though I'm using Wen kids on her.

jaxs mom-my shih-tzu is around 12 lbs (she is small for the breed as she was the runt). Personally, I can get two cleanses out of the Wen Pets "small" mix for Shelby. I always use distilled water and since I give her a bath once a week, the extra mix keeps nicely. Hope this helps.

Thanks BB, so that's about 1oz CC per cleanse. I was worried about storing it if I mixed too much and I didn't want to waste it either.

That's right...about one ounce per cleanse. So Wen Pets is an INSANE value for me! I've had no problems with storage but I do think it's important to use distilled water instead of regular tap water when you plan to store some of it. And I only mix 2 ounces at a time so it doesn't sit too long.

I've mixed too much before and just kept the left overs and it gets thick again so I just added more water to thin it out, I just used tap water though since I used warm water.

Ok I used an ounce today but it was really more than her tiny body needed. I think I'm going to try a 1/2 oz next time.

I agree. I have 2 MinPins that are about 12 pounds each, and I can bathe them both with the "small" mix and there's even some left over.

I bathe Shelby once a week. A bottle of Wen Pets lasts me approximately 12 months.

Oh geeze that would last me years then. Emma only gets a bath every six weeks when it's warm and only infrequently the rest of the year. I may try the wen kids out on her then since we already have some.
