So dissapointed in the Wen hairbrushes

I got a set of medium and Ive tried twice now and my hair is a frizzy mess. I can get it smooth if I use my old metal one what is going on ? Has anyone else had this issue?

I had just cleansed I did leave in plus 3 drops oil Styling cream and then a drop of glossing before I started. Not good no matter how many times I went over a piece it was frizzy. I cant be that bad it Ive never had trouble before.

What is your experience with the brushes?

are they boar bristle brushes? what type of hair do you have? I cannot use boar bristle brushes mainly because they just get tangled up in my hair, regardless of how hard I try. IF they are boar bristle, I don't think they are for all hair types. But that just is my opinion and based on mine and some of my friends' experiences.

I've been using the brushes for over a year and love them. I purchased many expensive brushes over the years and they were all ruining my hair . The brushes for me were the missing piece. Are you moving your blow dry quickly as Chaz instructs? I really think it maybe the way you are blow drying not the brushes but I could be wrong.

you are probably right. I can only juggle the brush and the dryer so fast Smiley Happy

If I were u, I'd just pick up a new brush at Walmart. I think the Wen combs are great, though.

Re: So dissapointed in the Wen hairbrushes

One thing I found was I have to make sure to hold the hair dryer where it blows down my hair, toward the ends, not up toward the roots. For me, that's really hard to do unless I hold it by the barrel not the handle. Also, have the dryer on low heat, low speed and don't start styling until your hair is 75% dry. I'm still not very good at blow drying my hair, but Chaz's brushes work the best on my hair I've ever used.

Just keep practicing, give it at least the 30 day return period before you decide you can't use them. A brush with a metal barrel is going to get hot so it's acting like a flat iron on your hair and can damage it.

I keep hoping I missed something or some tip ! Ill try again with smaller pieces next time but when I watched a video with anna drying hair she said use more hair not less in each piece.

But how can you only have it blow down when they say lift you hair straight up for volume ?

Guess I need to forget the lift it up part next time
