Work with your hair stylist! He/She will continually shape your bangs until they have grown out to the length you want. Believe me, it will make it easier - don't try to DIY.

The best thing about growing out your bangs is that if you end up not liking it, bangs can be cut in a minute by your stylist.

I went through all the trouble of growing mine out, didn't like it--presto, stylist can create a bang immediately. Much easier than the growing-out process!

I have ALWAYS worn bangs and a few years ago, I grew them out. I can't believe I was so patient. Of course, once I did it, I decided I didn't like it because I thought it made me look older. Back to bangs I went! Side benefit--I am not a spring chicken, yet I have absolutely NO lines on my forehead--I attribute that to the bangs!

Comb your bangs back and use clip-on bangs until your bangs grow out.

I love not having bangs. It just takes patience. I stopped cutting them. It helps if up your hair is short to medium. I don't subscribe to the hairdresser philosophy of trimming them while they grow it..it will just take longer. I noticed few models or actresses have bangs...that's not why I gave them up...I just don't think they look good on adult women.

I just recently cut my hair in bangs probably the first time I've had bangs in what 50 years?! the 70s wings don't count lol. They look pretty awesome on me but then I have a five head :-)
