Would love to get some recommendations on what you ladies use to highlight the inner eye to look enhance your eye look.
I am going for a natural look...something subtle, but effective. My sister recommended ‘Nylon’ by MAC, but it looks like it might be too frosty for my mature skin. We don’t live anywhere near a Sephora or department store, so I have to rely on online pictures that aren’t always reliable.
Thanks!

@Swedishmiss For a really natural look, don't use a shimmer. Look for a matte shade of shadow in one of your palettes that's a shade or two lighter than skin tone. The idea is placement...You're trying to cover the darker shadow at the inner corner of the eye caused by lack of volume and a shadow caused by our nose. If you highlight too much, you draw attention to a problem instead of disguising it. I personally rely on my concealer/corrector to "highlight" that inner eye corner. Using a too light shadow or shimmer in the corner and carrying it underneath the eye as liner can be aging.

@Swedishmiss Since highlighting the inner eye is a new technique for you I would agree with @Pook and recommend Bisque. Some of the creamy products can be a hot mess if you'renot used to using them. Bisque always just brightens up the eyes, and it's pretty hard to mess up the application.
A second option would Laura Geller's Baked Vanilla highlighter. However, this item must be a big seller, so it's not always available at QVC.com or Laura's website.

Baked Vanilla looks nice. I use this. It's a very creamy powder formula with no shimmer.Slightly off-white.

@monicakm - I love this palette. Where did you get yours?

@Swedishmiss I know where and what you're talking about. I use a quad eyeshadow palette from Clinique called "Teddy Bear" that has the perfect cream color (at least for me it is.) I use that cream color right under the slight brow arch and the inner corners of the eyes. It's matte so there is zero shimmer and just the right amount of light color. The whole palette is a great neutral matte eyeshadow palette. Honestly, you can use any matte cream-colored eyeshadow. HTH 🙂
You can always shop online at Sephora, that's how I shop there even though there is one fairly close by; too much traffic.

I have seen disasters on TV, so I don't even try.
