IT CC Cream is soooo thick and one reason why it settles into lines and wrinkles.  The least amt of foundation you can apply, the better.  A good primer will help fill in those lines helping to keep foundation out of them.  Nothing is perfect tho but with some good skincare, good prep before foundation, it can certainly help.

@mariadomenica @Chopsmom  - I use IT CC Cream and apply it with a damp Real Techniques sponge.  The damp sponge does the trick and it does not settle into fine lines and it is not as thick.

I also think it applies better with a sponge than a brush.  IT does this product a disservice by pushing a brush application.    If the CC cream seems too heavy for me that day, I cut it with a little tinted moisturizer.

I'm 73 and noticed that in recent years my complexion looks better without foundation. And yet, for some occasions I want to wear foundation. Go figure.

Anyway, for me, my complexion looks smoother and more youthful when I wear a tinted, neutralizing primer only. No foundation, just neutralizing primer. Probably wouldn't work for everyone.

Also, I've never bought into the hype of wrinkle removers. I'm more into keeping my skin healthy and happy.

After working in a major department store & having access to many brands & samples, I use the it cc with illumination. The trick is to get the correct shade & I would do that with an employee in a regular store & go from there. Also, you can try on & get samples of other potential foundations at regular stores before you commit, order, waste money etc.
