Do you have a Sephora close? I've tried a drugstore brand. Didn't care for it. I've tried 3 others and my favorite has been from Huda Beauty. I think it's called Clean Genie. Light mint colored jar.

@mariadomenica My skin is dry. I use FUTURIST by Estee Lauder. You can build the foundation to the level you want.
For me IT foundation and RMS are very yellow. I was very disappointed in RMS because their web site offered a color match to my foundation - huge waste of money. I did contact the company but guess they have on interest in helping their customers, they never contacted me.
I suggest going to a make up counter for a color match.

Order online at Sephora. Their returns are so easy. They send you a link to print a prepaid label and you drop it off at any Dollar General or FedEx facility.

One of the best products I've found for my dry skin is squalane oil. I use The Ordinary sold online and at Sephora. It is made from sugarcane (Squalane is also made from olives but I prefer sugarcane). My skincare routine is minimal. I do usually use serums, whether they help or not they do feel nice. I use a hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, then squalane last. It makes my skin feel so soft and helps keep it hydrated. It lasted until the next morning when I reapply. I've never found anything that lasts that long. It only takes a few drops for face and neck. I do love trying high end product, but unless I get a great sale price, I skip it. I'll never pay hundreds of dollars for something that isn't any better than a $10 product.

I'd second or third the recommendation to use a primer. YSL Touche Eclat line blurring primer is fairly moisturizing I've found. I like Hourglass and Smashbox too. It can take an average foundation and make it look incredible. Foundation really goes on much smoother and helps with texture.

Yes! Squalane oil is perfectly suited for our skin and works great to seal everything in that you put on prior to it. It's my last step in my evening routine. I also use it as the "slip" for my gua sha. It also goes on the back of my hands in my neck.

@mariadomenica I'm not sure where you live, but if it's gotten cold, dry, heat on in your house, maybe even a fireplace? I'd add a humidifier in the rooms where you spend the most time. I have one on the floor next to my bed that stays there all year.
I disagree with those who suggest exfoliation. If your skin is so dry it's causing issues, you may want to stay away from chemical or physical exfoliation until you get skin in better condition and your skin's barrier in tact.
