Yes, there was a time I was using Formula 2 but now I no longer need it and use the regular one for maintenance. All of their products really work. I have been using them for about 20 years now.

i have dry hands in winter and find Argon oil works wonders for my nails and hands.

I've had success with the pink gel polish. I wash my hands alot. A good conditioning hand wash versus a drying one, like soft soap, is a must. Dara on the philosophy shows uses a pump if cleaner and a pump of cream when washing hands. I've been wanting to try that. Keeping hands creamed helps me. I am getting better at putting it on before bed and I can see/feel the difference when I don't.

Another vote for Nailtiques 2--in fact, I recommended this product recently on the board. My nails still crack sometimes, but there is no more peeling and my nails are beautiful and strong. Pink Gel Coat caused my nails to peel and they were horrible!

Thanks everyone for your helpful posts. I purchase the Hard as Hoof at Walmart today and I also do use argan oil products as some of you have said to try. The Hard as Hoof product smells wonderful (Cherry Almond) and soaks in immediately. I also have not been wearing gloves in the extreme cold this winter. I know that is not smart, so I am going to start that too. I know the heat dries out everything, so it makes sense it would dry out my nails. I am going to use the Hard as Hoof religiously so I can get some hydration in my nails and I will let you all know how it works for me. Thanks again for all the helpful suggestions! Stay warm and hopefully Spring is just around the corner!!

I have very weak nails that split, but taking Biotin daily has helped strengthen them a lot.

I use Biotin and it really makes nails grow faster and they are very healthy and strong too.

I've been using both for about 4 years and had great nails.

This winter they're a mess...along with my cuticles. I finally broke down and got a full set of gels about a month ago.

I'll probably take them off in early March and hopefully by late spring I'll have good new nail growth.

This winter has been brutal on my hands and nails.
