Help With Fake Eyelashes, Please

I bought some fake eyelashes, kind of on a whim. I'm assuming they go on before eyeshadow to a clean, dry lashline, and then the eyeshadow goes on afterward. Is that correct?

E/s first Jean. I put liner and shadow on first. I don't wear them often, but when I do...they are the last step. I put mascara on before them, and the lashes go on last for extra oomph!

Whew, I'm glad I asked. Thanks a million, Win. I'm definitely not trying them tomorrow, for the first time, but will play and practice during the week, if I think of it. Thanks again.

Re: Help With Fake Eyelashes, Please

LOL I'm not an expert BUT have been wearing false eyelashes for 40 years, every day...........so here goes. I don't use mascara nor do I curl my short lashes - so on from there

I refresh my eyebrows first w/IT thin - then apply eye shadow lightly (at the end of this process I add more eye shadow as needed). Next eye liner top and bottom

Next the lashes - clean any yesterday's glue off if the set if not a fresh new out of the box pair - apply glue with a toothpick - not too thin or lashes will not hold up throughout the day. Allow the glue to become a little sticky - say 1 minute - then with tweezers apply lash starting from the center of your eye, then secure both ends to your eye line.

Facial makeup - hair - and you're done! Hope this helps.-it's a 'learning curve that takes practice!

PS out of the box new - lashes have to be cut/trimmed down to size to fit your eye size.
