Re: Happy July, Scents and Common Sense Thread

Just read that Jenn Anniston has a new fragrance debuting at Kohl's soon. Called "J". It's freesia, magnolia and sandalwood. Wouldn't know what freesia or magnolia smelled like if I fell on it, but I don't like sandalwood. However, it's described as "bright, fresh and crisp" so I will definitely give it a sniff if I see it.

Desi, I was looking at Mally A252446 since you get 2, watched the video and read the reviews. Boy, like I really need something else. Going to call the doctor today about the pain in DH arms since it is a lot worse, didn't even go out tonight, said he can't get comfortable so, will call when they open but don't have much hope of getting in.

makeup, good to see you and yes, oh boy, congrats on the 22 lbs

Doglover, hope you got DH in to see someone today. Had no idea he was still in pain from the fall! Let us know how he is when you get a chance.

I haven't tried anything Mally except her liners and glosses. That does get good reviews though. You might want to look into Chanel powders. I can't use them because they break me out, but they are the softest, finest milled ones out there IMO.

Finally a nice day here.

Stephanie I am really hurt that you would talk bad about me in a group I added you to on Facebook. I know I have not been on this thread in a while but I still thought we were friends. I feel betrayed and like you are not the person I thought you were.

Re: Happy July, Scents and Common Sense Thread

Talking about the running. You warned me about doing too much. I didn't tell the leader of the running group about the fibro until yesterday. One of her best friends has it and was impressed I even tried. Still want to do the inflatable 5k in a few months.Smiley HappyWent to bed early last night. I think the meds worked and I slept like a baby. Doglover, please let us know how your DH is doing. I hate he's in so much pain. ETA: try Too Faced chocolate foundation. It's not bad. I liked Clarins better, but I was surprised at how nice the powder foundation by Tio Faced is.

Re: Happy July, Scents and Common Sense Thread

Makeup, I finally figured out what you meant, lol! I was afraid you were MIA because I mothered you too much with my cautions. I'm glad the leader knows so she can guide you. I don't doubt you can complete the 5K. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} I just think you might want to decide if walking part of it is okay. It will be a great accomplishment to even have gotten in shape enough to try!

You are making me look, lol, knew about the Chocolate Bar shadows, didn't know they had a foundation. Back after looking.

Okay, checked it out. Makeup, sounds (should say smells) lovely! I think I would need a sample because there are a bunch of possible break-out causing ingredients in it. Anything chocolate requires scrutiny from me, I love chocolate!

Musingsofamuse has a review. That's what got me curious. I like it, but I don't love it like the Clarins liquid. No, you did okay on the mothering! Would pop on the forums, read, tried to type and .gracie would punch on my iPad. LOL I went to Lake Michigan for two weeks! I loved it! It was nice and cool and very pretty. Since Gracie got sick the last time, I've been trying to spoil them more.Smiley Happy this week though I've been really fatigued. Yeah, running leader is fine with me walking. She totally gets it, which is great. I had signed up for the Pinky run next month and I'm doing it on my treadmill. Smiley Happy. They have virtual runs!! You can do. 5k on your own time and wherever you want. It's great for summer heat and humidity and for people like me who are just starting out. I can stop and start when I need to. I can walk the whole thing without being embarrassed about being in the bottom group. Plus I still get a t shirt and a medal for doing the virtual race!

Oh and magnolia smells nice. My parents have the tree in their front yard. Pain to mow around, but pretty and soft floral smell.
