I bought the 2-pc. set of the mini do and style-a-do (think that's the name) about a year and a half ago.  I've worn the style-a-do a lot.  It' looks great, the color match to my hair is spot on and it let's me have a style I could never recreate with just my own hair.

JLF, this is off topic to your post, but I just read the obituary for Harper Lee ( To Kill A Mockingbird ) and wondered if there is some connection of your board name to Scout, the daughter of the Atticus Finch character.  Her name and your board name are identical.

@jlkz  Yes, there is.  The TKAM story is a favorite of mine and I especially love the movie.  I actually wanted to use "Scout", but it was already taken so I went with her given name.  Even though most folks here refer to me as "JLF" sometimes someone will call me "Scout".  Smiley Happy

I am a big fan of TKAM too and just read a wonderful book that I think you would enjoy. I SURE did! By Mary McDonagh Murphy.

The wig was good for Jane as it covered her ears.

Jane looked great in the Wispy cut wig in med brown ginger .  I have 2 wigs, the Bob cut with side bangs & the Angled side cut, which they keep calling the Shawn Killinger (it isn't), both in med brown ginger.  I love the color. I needed a little shaping & the bangs trimmed. Just plopping it on doesn't look as good.

I'll admit television lighting doesn't do the wigs any fvaors, but they won't be as shiny in person.  I have seen both brands in person and while I was disappointed in Sherri's and Hair- Do they do look more realistic in person.  I have always been one to use wigs for alternative hairstyles and colors, and feel knowledgeable about them as a result.  I've had wigs which cost hundreds of dollars, but I know that one doesn't have to spend that kind of money because there are some fabulous synthetics on the market for less than $100.  That said I don't believe any wig can be won right out of the box and look its best. A wig --be it human hair or synthetic-- should be taken to a hairdresser and cut and styled on the wearer to get the best looking appearance.

I watched this for a few min and I thought Jane looked nice in straight hair for a change.
