I use a wet brush (it's SO old!  the tips still intact).  I also use the conair wide tooth comb.  Maybe $3-$4 at CVS.  I may look at the unbrush.

I only use brushes on wet hair.  I used to use a mini Tangle Teezer and still do, but no longer in the shower.  After applying leave-in conditioner, running a large-tooth comb through it upside down, and flipping my head over to upright, I run the Tangle Teezer through the back from beneath to stretch out the curls.

I currently use a mini Un Brush in the shower after I've applied conditioner and letting it sit in my hair while I finish bathing.

This is an excellent brush. It moves and bends just like the Calista.
