Can anyone compare the Calista hairbrushes with the WET brushes?  I certainly like the prices of the WET brush better!

have been a Wet Brush user for years , however I found the Unbrush and it's even better

you can find them in the beauty section at MarshallsScreenshot 2026-05-12 at 6.45.27 AM.pngthere are copies as well

A friend gave me a detangling comb over 50 years ago...I still use it.

I second the Unbrush. @jackthebear

I was using the Wet Brush before that until the little beads on the ends of the bristles came off and then the Wet Brush wasn't so good any more. Unbrush is way better.

Try a wide comb for wet hair.  Much less tugging.  Mine has held up for years.

I also use my wide tooth comb for many, many years. also I have a Wet Brush that I use mainly when I want to remove excess hairspray from my hair.

@bargainsgirl

I have both

Calistas is way more open on the back than the Wet brushes.

I get more hair pulled out by far w/ the Wet brushes and rarely use them anymore.

Calista never seems to pull out much hair ever and is more gentle, less tugging, glides through easier.

I use the Calista mini brush. It's the perfect size 😻

Have used from HSN Wet brush,

                            DoubleC Pro

Tangle Teaser by ? Shari P

Calista  brushes - big  wide&  regular size & mini for purse

HSN Wet brush the  little nobles on the end of the bristles eventaully fall off & brush is not comfortable to the scalp . Did okay job  for thick curly hair .

Tangle teaser worked pretty well but pulls the hair

Calista regular size use on my wet thick curly hair , well the  brush  frame broke so I bought the wide one for wet hair which I do like and it does not seem to pull out  many hairs .

Double C Pro brush  works pretty well on my wet hair and the brush frame is stronger more rigid than the Calista brush .

I took one for the team, girls! I bought a Bounce Curl brush.

$30 for that piece of nonsense!!!

I should have known better, but I fell for the hype.Smiley LOL

I came here to save all of you some money, especially if you have naturally curly hair!

Callista products don't work for me.

Buy a Wet brush and call it a day.
