HSN not honoring Auto-Ship prices

I've had this happen before and called and got it fixed.  This time it was for the large size of Perlier cream (original Caribbean vanilla scent).  It was $29.99 and I locked it in on Auto-Ship.  I also ordered another scent (Caribbean vanilla orange) on Auto-ship.  I checked this morning and my second delivery is processing at SIXTY-FIVE DOLLARS!  I did Live Chat and told them about the problem.  I was told nothing could be done and that the special pricing is ALWAYS on the first shipment only.  I reminded this person that the hosts always say "lock it in on Auto-Ship to keep this price for future shipments."  The rep just said sorry for the bad news.

 

By the way, I looked at my order status and the other scent (Caribbean vanilla orange) IS locked in at the $29.99 for future shipments.  This is strange.

HSN is not making me happy at all right now. They have lost me as a customer as of this morning so I understand. I know they won't care but I care. I think they are getting desperate and doing a lot of questionable things right now. I'm sorry about your auto-ship order. I hope someone will fix it for you.

@santorini Whomever you talked to lied. Call back and get a supervisor.  Remind them of the of the on air promotion of autoships staying the same price and verbiage on the listing.  They can fix it for you. I ALWAYS check my future shipments immediately as the plan goes into effect.  More than once, I've had to call and get future pricing corrected.

@JeanLouiseFinch Thank you.  I even said I was going to be printing the transcript and reporting this issue to the Better Business Bureau.  She just wrote back and asked if there was anything else I needed help with.

This was discussed at the time this was a weekly drop. You may have missed it. I remember I canceled the order coz I didn't want to deal with it again. This was happening way too much & I was tired of the games.

As others have said, you have to get a supervisor to change this. Chat reps cannot change it, at least that has been my experience. Call the 1-800 number & request to talk to a supervisor.

@JeanLouiseFinch   I'd call, too but I would start with another rep first just because it's always seems much faster to get to one of them,

 

I haven't run into that necessity with either QVC or HSN.  Both my recent problems were insurance related and worth thousands of dollars!  No way was I giving up after call number one and simply shopping for insurance elsewhere next time.  One employee doesn't necessarily give us any clue as to company policy.  Try asking the one giving you an answer you don't like how long they've had the job - sometimes they need more experience and/or more training.  Both companies resolved the problems as I hoped.  I just don't think companies care.  People care.

@santorini  Your post scared me because my auto ship of the same thing is processing now. I just checked and it is at the correct price of $29.99 and free shipping. Yours is an error. You chatted with a rep who has no clue what they are talking about. Call and speak with a real person who is trusted to speak to customers. Really. Stay calm when you talk to them. This will be corrected. You should not need a supervisor. This is a basic error.

Thank you all for your encouraging words.  I just called back and spoke to a live person.  She agreed that the Live Chat person gave out wrong information.  She said that is NOT the rule (first order only gets the discount).  She was very nice and everything is now updated.  I used to be in favor of Live Chat but after this, I think I will only call from now on.  Thank you again!

I wouldn't be happy either..good for you.  I'm not happy right now with HS.  It's just a little thing but irritated.  I bought the todays special the Lancome La Vie Belle 3,4 oz for $99

it wa s11/26.  They now have it for $95.  I know it's only $4.  but I guess it's the principal

of the matter.  Like I said it's not earth shattering deal.... but annoying.  When it's a today's special...you want it to be the lowest price.  which at the time it was.  Oh well.
