She thinks that "infamous" means the same thing as famous. She says "ranting and raving" when she means to say that a product has received high praise. She says "voluMPtuous" instead of voluptuous. She also refers to a great item in any particular kit as the "coup de e'tat!" LOL I think she is trying to copy Stacy from YBF who refers to star products as the "pièces de résistance."
Amy is so cute, but she is not a competent host. She just repeats the same thing over and over again without giving any product information. She certainly looks the part of a host, but she never gives information other than the "value" and the fact that the product is a "best seller", etc. I find her very difficult to watch. Shannon and Amy are the two that I don't particularly like to watch for different reasons. Shannon, at least, seems to research the product a bit. Amy is a bit of an "airhead" from what I can tell. She doesn't seem to 'get" that she's not sharing info we really need to know as viewers. "God bless her".

I don't think she's necessarily entertaining Vamp. It's more like annoying.

oh, Colleen will have a style show? maybe that is why Diana P left. Colleen is my fave host of any shopping channel.
Libby from shopnbc is on JTV now...i like Libby too.

Lynn Murphy is the hardest host on HSN for me to watch. She is a true "airhead". Sometimes I think Amy seems like Lynn. However, Amy has a nice voice and Lynn's drives me crazy.

Oh my........I see much worse butchering of the English language on these boards.

I love watching the beauty report. I''m too interested in the products to notice if they are ""butchering"" the English language.

She's so cute and upbeat that I've never noticed the butchering.

Amy, the HSN Beauty Report host just said frangipangi instead of frangipani when she was describing ingredients in a perfume. She said it several times. At first I thought she fooling around. Not!geeze, I can't pronounce either one.

I heard her mispronounce something yesterday when she was doing the Pretika show. She kept doing it -- I thought she must be nervous. I'm sure these hosts are under a lot of pressure to sell product.

HSN puts her out as the beuty expert but she is far from it. She keeps telling makeup venders to use "the schmear method" when applying foundation. She constantly says "anyways" ugh. She used to be good, I don't know what happened. I really miss Diana. The worst host is Helen, omg she is awful.
