Thanks a million @HappyDaze for your recommendation of Restore Self-Cleansing Treatment. I absolutely LOVE what this has done for my hair so far.
Another jewel in the line is "Above The Clouds" which is one of the Rare Treasure Treatment Cleansers, now only available in the 3 pack with Tribal Chocolate & Peaches and Fresh Cream. I read somewhere that "Above The Clouds" was the most cleansing of the 3, however they all get a majority of good reviews.
I jumped on the bandwagon when this line launched with Restore & Rise & Shine foam in the can. For some reason, possibly user error, I didn't enjoy nearly as much as I have these two.
I know it's early, and just hope they continue to perform so beautifully as they have since I purchased -If so, I've found my new shampoo, conditioner, treatment and shine product. I've used both 3x each, so a pretty fair trial. My hair has never looked and felt better. It's light and airy, full and NOT weighed down- granted I have a lot of hair, but would imagine it could perform well for various hair types. Also my hair is on the fine side.
The only pitfall I can find is the tube (Above the Clouds) is a little tough to use due to the thickness of the formula. You have to really squeeze that sucker with a firm grip to get the product out. Restore comes in a big tub, so it's easy peasy and will last for months- it takes such little product.
Edited to say it's a cleanser, not your traditional shampoo.

@Funloving thanks for the great review of your experience! I am soooo happy you are loving Tweak-d! Makes me happy that I could help you. I really think they have some amazing products. I actually finally got through my first Restore jar and I've had it for close to a year now. NOW, mind you, I didn't use it very often at first but now I am religious about using it on my dry hair on the days I am going to cleanse before I jump in the shower. So since I opened my new jar, I will have to see how long it lasts me using it every time I cleanse. I predict it will last six months, especially since I don't wash my hair every day.
Good to hear the Above the clouds works well for you too! I did not try that one from the rare treasures- only the peach one- and I doubt I will try it or the chocolate one since I love the restore and the nourish can (and my WEN of course) and I wasn't real impressed with the peaches and cream one (both in performance and scent).
I wonder when Tweak-d will be back on HSN?

I was wondering when they'd be back too. Since Peaches & Fresh Cream is supposedly their summer formula I'd imagine they'll be back at least by late spring if not sooner... and hopefully (for me) with Above the Clouds again, since that's sold out. I'm so impressed with ATC I don't really have a desire to try the others- at least not any time soon. Denis said ATC it's the most cleansing. I think they tout the Peach as good for heat appliance protection. However, my impression from the reviews for the 3 pack were most favorable overall for ATC.
I sort of wrote off Tweak-d, not knowing they had grown the line. I gave my granddaughter the Rise and Shine. My daughter said her hair was thinning. I can't EVEN imagine.. she has 3 normal healthy heads of hair. But I digress.
Are you using the Nourish foam with the RESTORE cream? Edited because i had those backwards and I don't even drink. haha. I think I still have a can in my stash & may try that again, now in tandem. I still have plenty of my faves in Wen, too. Like you, I don't cleanse daily, rather every 4th day, so it's a good buy and cuts down on other products for me.
I did try an application of Caviar CC Cream 10 in 1 that was a good deal on Amazon. While I like it, I don't feel I need an extra product while using Tweak-d. I'm sure I'll still use it some for added heat protection on days my hair takes excessive abuse.
I'm thrilled you posted and I gave it another go! That's 2 now since I love OLO's B Cleansing Oil. You're quite the excellent resource, my friend.
Hopefully I can return the favor. SOON! We now have the hounds sniffing out a good sale on AI Punker's 'scara for ya...

OK, bear with me @HappyDaze. In your original post and in this one you said you do use the foam. Excuse the redundancy.

hahaha @Funloving that is okay, I was going to go into my spiel about how I use the foam and restore again, lol. Oh and hey did you say you used the restore mist too or do you use the rise and shine mist?
oh and as a slight digress, I wanted to tell you I tried the eyeko curling mascara (had one from my birchbox) and it was just terrible. I never liked any of the Eyeko mascaras I tried but this seemed to be the worst yet. Can't wait to try punker! ![]()

You're too cute @HappyDaze. You always bring a big smile to my face.
I didn't buy the configuration of Restore with the Mist. Someone in that thread did though, and was hoping she'll review it. I haven't tried any of the Tweak-d mists. I don't know how you feel about this, but they do have them on eBay, along with an array of other products for a good price. I didn't buy. At some point I'd like to try it though. I'm waiting for HSN to come back with special pricing and new inventory- maybe something else new and exciting, lol.
This mascara thing is so frustrating, isn't it?! Sorry the Eyeko was yucky. I had a half-way decent impression of a mascara by Smashbox, but I knew when it was harder to wash off than waterproof, which I never wear, that was the end of that- so wouldn't recommend it.
Didn't you say you liked Benefit's "They're Real" and they're coming out in colors? Ages ago I wore navy mascara exclusively... I think it was EL & eventually got tired of paying so much. But wow..it really popped the whites of my eyes. I love deep colored mascaras if the formula works. And of course there lies the rub at the moment.
Since I haven't used Punker yet, I'm happy to send you mine. If you can think of a way to communicate it would be my pleasure. I'm very serious. Another sale will come along. On the subject of this mascara, I think it was MUAlley where I read it dried up too quickly. Since it's a wax formula- that's prone to happen. The remedy is to run the tightly closed tube under hot water... & viola!--- good as new.
@Krissy_1968 - Since I know you use this & were the sweetie to tell me about Hautelook's sale, maybe this tip will come in handy for you.
Seems I can't compose a short message anymore so I'll zip-a-lock (ha)
...for NOW.
