Re: Great News for TATCHA users!!

I have the Tatcha camellia cleansing oil which Dr Dray kind of liked. At least the fragrance isn't a strong one and it washes off . I will use this occasionally when I do a double cleanse after I remove my eye makeup with Marcelle eye makeup remover pads which are unscented or use my L'Oreal micellar water which is also unscented. The Tatcha cleansing oil is ok but I wouldn't repurchase it. I didn't buy it at Sephora or Ulta at full price either. I got it at Winners more than a year ago and it was about half of what it normally sells for.

@IntoSkincare To sum it up, she said the only thing she would be tempted to buy on the TATCHA website is the pearl necklace, but pearls are not cruelty free or vegan.

If I am going to take advice about beauty products from someone, I want them to look healthy and maybe like she believes in a beauty routine.  I have never seen her before, and wasn't impressed.

Re: Great News for TATCHA users!!

With due respect, I would not take beauty advice from someone who looks like a chracter from a Tim Burton's movie.  I used to have cystic acne and rosacea and after using Tatcha for over 3 years, my sking looks like a million bucks!  My own dermatologist is so amazed at how much my skin has improved.  No more pills or prescription creams. Smiley Happy I use the Essence, the cleanising oil, the rice powder, and the replenishing cream daily.  The violet mask I use it once a week.  I agree that the price is high but I take advantage when they're on sale and on easy pay.

I would not discourage anyone from trying or keep using any products from any line.  At the end of the day, if it works for you and it makes you happy, go for it.  We don't need anyone with a doctor title to tell us not to use it just because she/he says so.

Good luck ladies.  No matter what, you are beautiful!

I agree completely with @mimi moon.  Skincare is very personal. If something works for you, GO FOR IT!

I use the Water Cream and thus far I have no problems.

I also use Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream.   I really like that.

Re: Great News for TATCHA users!!

I like her videos, she makes some good points about expensive skin care, ingredients and the proper use of sunscreen.  She has made me aware of the necessity of reapplying sunscreen and not just once in the morning.  Yes, she's thin but I think she's naturally a thin person who eats healthy and works out. If you watch her videos, she eats quite a bit just vegan based. I love the videos with her mom and when she shops the drug store and Costco and goes over the indredients and gives her opinion.  I enjoy her silly sense of humor!

She lost me at her rant about how bad botanical extracts are followed immediately by how it does have some good ingredients, such as green tea.  Which is a botanical extract.
