I don't have Rosacea, but I've had trouble with redness and irritation for most of my adult life. I have allergies and am often red around my nose. I get redness from blemishes and from goodness knows what else. I've tried many products and serums over the years that claim to fight redness, but most don't work. I've tried color correctors, but some of them leave me too yellow or green.

I've been using Paula's Choice Clinical Instant Calm Advanced Redness Relief for a week now and this stuff is amazing. I apply it with a cotton pad or my fingers and a few minutes later my skin looks so much better. The redness is gone or faded significantly and my skin tone appears more even. I feel better without makeup, but when I do wear it, my makeup looks better because it's not trying to cover so much. Thanks for sharing! I had issues with occasionally redness by my nose but not lately. If I ever have the issue again, I'd give this a try. So many supposed redness relief things I've tried in the past never worked so it is nice to know of one that does! I am using her 2% Bha anti-redness liquid and I believe it is one of the reasons I no longer have the redness issues.

Would this work for redness caused by sun damage or is it only really for redness caused by sensitivity or allergies?

You mean like a short term sunburn? I have no personal experience using it for that, but the product description says yes.

Thanks for that but not sunburn but long term redness due to too much sun in the past.

Thanks, I will have a look at her website but think maybe I would need a peel or something more drastic unfortunately.

I selected this as my free samples in my last order.  My skin can get red and inflammed from acne, and when I used this it realy helped take the redness down a notch.  I may order the full size the next time I need to reorder my other Paula's products.

I use this on mosquito bites. I think it really helps soothe the itching.
