I used to wear a bob and finally decided it was making me look older so I got a pixie cut and I love it. Now I want it even shorter. Remember, the difference between a good haircut and a great one is two weeks.

Personally, hate pixies, I blame my mother, so you have my sympathies. The good news, is it will grow!

My mom did that also, I was mistaken for a boy, and hated it. I never did that to my DD and will never do that again to myself.

I'm sorry you are unhappy; time will be your friend. Emphasis on eye makeup is good w/a very short haircut (my hair is growing out from chemo loss 2 yrs. ago, so I do empathize w/OP)

I went pixie over a year ago -- have had the Jennifer Lawrence style since last winter and love the ease of it. Just a little root lifter on towel dried hair, and Voila! I'm 65 and think my short, "messy" hair makes me look more youthful and fun. It fits me.

It's a new style for you -- you'll probably love it when you get used to it. If not, it will grow!

Pixie cuts are just as much fun as long hair. I too went from long hair (middle of my back) to a pixie all summer because my hair grows so fast different version . Went last week for a trim I have wispy bangs and sides with a shaggy neck line. Make it yours make it fun.

Once, just once, I got a pixie cut and hated it. The fact that my MIL liked it wasn't good either. lol.

I would wake up in the middle of the night and realize it wasn't a terrible nightmare (that I got it cut). I wanted to cry!

It took more tools (2 different curling irons--flat irons weren't invented then) a blow dryer, a diffuser, umpteen styling products. It took longer to style than my long hair.

I keep it at shoulder length now and will always remember how much I did not like a short hair cut!

It will grow out, OP, just takes time. Every day is a plus!
