I'll buy rollerballs because the larger size isn't in my budget, or if I'm blind buying I rather buy the smaller version before investing in the larger size. I don't like rollerballs I feel like nothing is coming out as much as I am rolling it on my skin and don't get much of a scent payoff. I would much rather have a spray for these smaller sizes.

I LOVE rollerballs for travel.  I have the BB Beach (don't think they make it anymore) and the Trish McEvoy 9.  I get a lot that comes out of both of those and great fragrance pay off.

I prefer the little spray bottles too.  However, they tend to run out so much faster than the roller balls for me, as I can be heavy handed when spraying I think.

It's hard to find the roller balls or the small spray bottles.  The last one I received was included in a Christmas gift set.  It also had the travel size lotion.

I have never had a roller ball. I do have the small spray bottles though for a few perfumes, and I go through them very quickly it seems. I would like to try a roller ball, I wonder if the scent lasts longer than a spray??

I find that holiday time is the best selection of rollerballs...either separately or in sets. The fragrance companies want us to try new scents and most of us don't want to shell out $100 for a new eau de toilette, etc. until we know we love it and absolutely need a larger size.

Sephora sells the smaller sizes on a lot of their fragrances.  I usually go there when I want to try a new fragrance.

Hey @Jordan2   I sometimes have trouble getting enough scent from a rollerball.  Other rollerballs I have the produduct comes out nice.  The tricky ones I try to move around with my finger.

I like rollerballs for trying out something new and also find them convenient for travel.

@CANDLEQUEEN

I find that the rollerball versions might last longer but the scent throw is far less.  My husband uses rollerball fragrances.  I can't smell it till we're hugging.  I tell him he better not come home and tell me some woman liked his cologne!  I'll know she was WAY too close LOL
