Reading posts so many of you love this product. How does it compare to Josie Maran's Body butter? Do you feel that the silicones in the product are any type of health concern for you or your skin? Does it completely rinse off?

I have and use both. Love both. The Josie one gives my skin a silky slip feeling which is great. The FAB one seems to stay on longer and last through some water. My skin feels the product at first but after a short while it just makes my skin feel so good and soft, and I don't feel the product at all. I tend to use the Josie at night and the FAB during the day.
The Fab product will completely rinse off, but it's skin softening quality lasts.
Yet another product I love is the Tweak'd all purpose rescue cream. It's great.
I'd be hard pressed to choose. Hope this helps.

how does this compare to Perlier body creams? Or drugstore products that are a lot less expensive? Help please.

Don't know if this helps but have tried Perlier. It was totally useless in making my skin look or feel better. It was always the price point plus
Skip and Amanda always seem so authentic. Josie Maran softens, removes the look of crepey skin, it is a heavier cream.. Never buy the scented ones. Winter is coming and the excessive dryness and heat wreaks havoc on my skin.

@hopi I think the First Aid cream is similar to CeraVe (sold in pump jar). It's a coupon item right now at Costco. 2 (14 ounce) jars for $20

@hopi It is comparable to Cerva V, Gold Bond & Aveno - good but nothing special . Josie's is superior on every level. You may want to try the first aid products at a local retailer to see if you like it before investing in a large set.

@hopi I used JM's many years ago and liked it a lot, but then the formula changed. It became a lot more sticky IMO. I also used FAB when it was first introduced to QVC. FABULOUS PRODUCT. Sinks right into the skin and has colloidal oatmeal, which is very soothing and healing. I always did their AD.
I would definitely recommend the FAB over the JM based on my experience.

I haven't tried FAB...I should try it. I found Josie's to be too greasy. I personally like Sol De Janeiro. But all of this is personal taste.

I much prefer Cerave cream. Which is a staple for me. It's rich and super moisturizing without a trace of greasiness.
I don't like the FAB at all, nothing special in my opinion. It seems watered down and more like a thick lotion and is not moisturizing enough for my very dry skin.
I've bought and tried it a number of times and always abandon it and start back with my Cerave.
I also never liked the Josie Maran cream it was always too greasy and never soaked in.....
