@NicksmomESQ You gave me a good laugh this morning. Yeah, we never would look at a guy wearing sandals and say -- 'dang, his feet look old.'

Nope, it would just be a guy doing his own thing, not wasting hours of time, weekly, primping and pruning. And, his pals would never sit around comparing feet, when there were ribs and beer to consume.

Yep.  My old, bald, wrinkled, male neighbor wearing flip flops stopped by this am to give me two still warm eggs.

Shucks, I forget to check his heels 🙄

I think the OP was sending a reminder to not neglect your feet.  It is a good health habit.   I do think if you're modeling footwear or jewelry on television, a manicure or pedicure is not too judgmental an expectation IMHO.

@On It    If you think feet show age take a look at knees.   They head south just like our boobs.  LOL  It's never ending and part of the age process.

@SilleeMee    Yes, everything heads south as we age.  So you have to go with the flow because you can't go backward only forward so do it with a smile.

@On It, I know exactly what you are saying and agree.  My hands went south years ago but I never really noticed my feet until last year. I just never pay that close of attention. I still dont take care of them like I should but I still cant believe how wrinkled my toes have gotten and I never noticed. Every now and then I try and moisturize them but I am not that worried about it.

But, it is a good heads up to people that may care. Feet are easy to forget.  Just like the hands.

You're right @shy bobcat. We're just having a bit of fun with the topic. Good foot care is important, particularly for those with certain health conditions.

Interesting this was brought up, last weekend I was with my sister & sister-in-law; my SIL told us her sister told her that her feet were really old and wrinkled.  My sister and I both said "feet get wrinkied???".  Hmmm, never knew that, then we were all comparing our feet. :-)
