Welcome to Texas dwingy!! {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

My two fave sunscreens for my face are:

MDSolarSciences - - - these are at Sephora. There is a tinted version and a regular version. Very smooth to apply and do not make me oily. Physical SPF only.

SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion SPF - - - a very light liquidy SPF. Physical SPF only. This is a tinted version and there's a regular version.

I like the tinted SPF's because I don't get the white cast. I get a little bit of coverage, then apply some powder foundation to set it.

For my body, I use the Banana Boat Baby stuff that Moonlady mentioned.

It will initially leave a slight white cast but it goes away. If you want to order on line, Paula's Choice Resist Super Light Daily Wrinkle Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is great and slightly tinted!

I've been on the hunt for physical sunscreens and wondered about these two. The whitish cast made me curious! Can you put makeup over this? Does it leave a greasy mess?

Sorry fallsnow56....I am just getting back to the computer. Oh yes you can put make up over this. It is a white cast because it is a higher SPF and it is zinc oxide. It fades right away. The consistency is like water. Not thick or sticky at all. I used the Pure and Free for a long time before I started using the Paula's Choice one. Pure and Free is really hard to find. Neutrogena makes another one that is in an identical container. And it is a physical sunscreen. So be sure to look for Pure and Free.

Thanks so much! You are right about Pure and Free being hard to find. I may have to order online. They have one for babies but not sure how that would be under makeup.

Try Sephora's Sun Safety kit- I got mine last week and it is filled with a variety of products.
