I swear by TheBalm’s Put a Lid on it, but may have to try the Milani. Can anyone tell me how soon you can put your powder shadow on after applying?

I just finished a tube of the Milani eye primer.  I waited just a minute and then applied shadow.  It worked well but I replaced with Ulta nude shadow primer.  I like this one even better because it has more coverage for my mildly discolored eyelids.

I use Paint Pot and Urban Decay. Never had a problem with Paint Pot changing the color of my shadows.

@laurelei  Thank you.  That would work for me, I just don’t want to wait more than a minute, LOL.

I use Mally’s Eyeshadow Primer in the green compact. She no longer offers this. 😢 I bought several and I am using the last one. I’m in hopes she’ll bring it back. If not I think I might try E.L.F. next. Thanks everyone for all the recommendations. 🙋🏻❤️

@Mothertrucker,  I love the elf eye primer. I do buy them 2 at a time since you don’t get much product in the container.   The good news is that it stays creamy and consistent in texture until the bottom.  I also very much like the wand applicator.

Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP) is the only one to use. It, by far, is the best primer out there. I've tried them all and always come back to UDPP. Been using it for years.
