Looking for recommendations for exfoliant?? Doesn't have to be QVC product.

Not sure why my post was deleted on this?

Re: Exfoliant recommendations?

I buy 120 grit aluminum oxide crystals from Amazon. I mix them with Mother Of Pearl Powder (Because I had some on hand) & keep it in the shower. You can mix it with your cleanser, but I use mine straight. Gently massage it on my damp skin. My skin really likes it & it looks so much better when I use it regularly. I can use it daily & my skin is fine with that.

Re: Exfoliant recommendations?

Love my Skinn DermAppeal - it has a minty scent and your face just feels so refreshed and smooth once you use it.  I use it once a week.  Just bought their TS supersize which will last me for a year.  Skinn's pore mask is also great if you have big pores.

I like the Philosophy Micro Exfoliating Washes, one for the face, one for the body, I mix them in with my regular face cleansers and body washes. No scent to conflict either.

Beekman has a great charcoal scrub.  I like Skinn dermappeal too, but Beekman isn't as harsh on the skin.

Re: Exfoliant recommendations?

The mint in Skinn Dermapeel is quite overpowering, for this reason I shy away from it, when I say overpowering i mean it, combo of peppermint and menthol. Other than that it is a great exfoliant, aluminum free.

I use the SALUX Super Hard cloth on the body. Best ever and it's sooo exhilarating!Woman Very Happy

For my face I use a chemical exfoliant...20% glycolic pad every other night. My skin is prone to get broken caps so I don't use any mechanical or physical methods of exfoliation like beads, brushes, diamond dust, AO crystals or anything that has crushed organic material (nutshells).

Skinn Dermapeel is great.  Noticeably smoother skin after use.  Once or twice a week is adequate for good results.

Re: Exfoliant recommendations?

Face: Paula's Choice 2% BHA or Peter Thomas Roth Unwrinkle pads

Body: Sugar scrubs, AmLactin body lotion, Paula's Choice Resist Body Treatment 2% BHA

I use all kinds of sugar scrubs and it doesn't matter if I go high end or low end, I like them all: Josie Maran, Fresh Brown Sugar, Shea Moisture, Tree Hut, etc. I often find a variety of scents in various brands at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. You can also DIY your own with sugar and any carrier oil, like grapeseed oil. There are loads of recipes online.
