So I'm reading all the politics out there and one of the representatives had a special interest in the US trading relations with China.....I guess EL donated somewhere

between 100 to 250K....

so a company wouldn't donate that kind of money if they didn't have an iron in the fire, are these cosmetics all made in China?

Where do you find this out...been researching and can't find a country of origin.

If you can get to a store that sells Estee Lauder, you can look at the package of any product to find country of origin. You can also call the company and ask, especially if ou have a specific product in mind.

But there are reasons for wanting trade relations with a country other than manufacturing products there.

@suzyQ3 @Mistreatedbycs .... I have been using Estée Lauder Fresh Air Makeup Base for over 25 years ... I just went & checked the box that it comes in .....it is made in Belgum .... at least it's not made in China because if it was I would not continue to use it!!!!

Thank you so very much for the information and now I understand completely.

It's just sad what money can do and how much.  A business

should be able to stand on its' own and not need thousands to millions to be able to do what they do best, sell.
